Desperately in need of another visit to my favorite city ASAP!!!! Below are my top recommendations! Some of my favorites from my last visit include: Complejo Cultural de Los Pinos (Slide 1 & 2) - a former presidential residence that was recently opened to the public as a museum, located inside Chapultepec park, the museum also includes one of the most lovely and peaceful green spaces I have found in the whole city, definitely want to go back to this spot with a book and coffee next time! Roma Norte ( Slides 3, 4, 6 & 7) one of the more trendy neighborhoods in Mexico City,full of cute cafes, little boutiques and gourmet restaurants, definitely worth spending at least an hour or two walking around! Parque Mexico (slide 5) one of the most popular parks in the city, located in Roma Notre, a great spot to bring a coffee, sit, relax and see all the Mexico City dogs out on their daily walk! Ball House Museum ( Slide 8) - old historic house museum showcasing the extravagance of the elite of Mexico in the late 19th century, also has the most beautiful European style garden in the back, definitely more of a hidden gem, must make a reservation in advance San Angel neighborhood ( Slide 9 & 11 ) wealthier mostly residential area in the south of the city, i recommend just walking around to check out the beautiful mansions and stopping for lunch at The San Angel Inn, the lesser known Frida Kahlo museum ( Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo) is also located in this area Cityzen ( Slide 10) amazing rooftop bar with views of all of the reforma neighborhood! Highly recommended going at sunset! Forever my favorite city ❤️🇲🇽…heading to San Miguel de Allende soon? Here are a few of my new favorites: Amapola Café ( featured in slide 7) -the most adorable peaceful outdoor courtyard, only tried the coffee but the brunch menu looked delicious!! Casa Cuadrante- maybe the most stunning cafe with a courtyard I have ever seen outside of Europe 😍 Mercado collective shop-beautiful homegoods shop,highly recommend if you are looking for higher quality souvenirs La Sacristía Patio + cafe-small cute cafe surrounded by plants #sanmigueldeallende❤️ #mexico #mexicotravel #digitalnomadlifestyle taken in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato by @julierterry

Central America is one of my favorite regions to visit for warm tropical weather any time of the year ❤️…below is a detailed breakdown of my ratings Panama City, Panama 9/10 Pros: -Super safe -Very warm welcoming people -Uses the U.S dollar -most people speak English making it easy to navigate -Beautiful rooftops and restaurants Cons: -Can be expensive, especially in the touristy areas -Is very Americanized, newer part of the city looks very much like the United States San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua 9.5/10 Pros: -Very walkable city -Super safe to walk around regardless of time of day/night -cute surfer style cafes -beautiful hotels for a fraction of the price of what you would pay in Costa Rica - beach front restaurants -can walk to the beach in less than 15 minutes from anywhere in the city Cons: - a little run down and certain parts are slightly dirtier than what I have seen in other cities Antigua, Guatemala 8/10 Pros: -very picturesque -several incredible rooftops with views of the surrounding volcanos - beautiful architectural ruins - easy to navigate around the city center -extremely safe - adorable cafes in lush garden settings Cons- -Very touristy, probably the most touristy out of the cities on this list - feels like it’s lost some of it’s authenticity - expensive, close to US prices Granada, Nicuragua 4/10 Pros: Significantly cheaper than the other destinations on this list Cute coffee shops with garden settings Adorable boutique hotels for ridiculously low rates Cons -Did not feel safe especially at night at there is no street lights -The people were not friendly and did not like foreigners -except for a very small portion of the downtown, the rest of the city is very run down and dirty with trash littering the streets Will get harassed constantly by tour companies trying to sell to you -it is extremely hot and humid and there are no beaches or bodies of water to swim within the city itself ( have to drive 30 minutes outside the city) #centralamerica #centralamericatravel #travelrecommendations #panamá #panamacity #guatemala #antiguaguatemala #nicuragua #travels #solotravel taken in Central America by @julierterry
