Some love stories deserve a soundtrack written in the stars. ✨🌌🎶

When @modernmomentsphoto reached out and asked me to record Across the Stars from Star Wars on the harp for Amanda & Ryland’s wedding video, I knew it was going to be something special. This was one of the songs I had the honor of playing live on their wedding day, and getting to incorporate it into their wedding film made the experience even more meaningful. 🤍

The romance of this piece, the emotion captured on film, and the beauty of their day all come together in the most magical way. And can we talk about how absolutely incredible @modernmomentsphoto did bringing this wedding film to life?! They truly knocked it out of the park. 😭✨

One of the sweetest wedding surprises! 🤍🎶

When a bride reached out to me after being referred by one of my favorite wedding planners, telling me she wanted to surprise her husband-to-be with live harp music on their wedding day, I was immediately all for it!

Knowing he was a huge Star Wars fan, she even requested a romantic piece from the Star Wars soundtrack to make the moment extra special. ✨

Before the ceremony began, he walked in to discover his very own surprise wedding gift from his bride-to-be: live harp music chosen just for him. Watching his genuine surprise and knowing how much thought she put into creating that moment was such a beautiful reminder of how personal and meaningful music can make a wedding day.

It’s the little details, the thoughtful surprises, and the moments of love that make each wedding so unique. What a joy it was to be part of theirs! 💙

One of my favorite wedding moments I’ve ever been part of happened a few weeks ago… and I caught it through the strings of my harp. 🤍

The bride hired me as a surprise for the groom because he loves the harp. She wanted me to play a song that was deeply special to them while also reflecting his love for Star Wars, so together we chose “Across the Stars.”

Before they made their grand entrance into the reception, they slipped away into the foyer for a quiet moment. No guests watching. No spotlight. Just the two of them, soaking it all in while a song played live on the harp.

It reminded me that while weddings are full of beautiful chaos—the hugs, the dancing, and celebrating with everyone you love—sometimes the moments you’ll remember most are the quiet ones.

So I’m officially introducing a new wedding add-on: The Private Harp Dance. ✨

Before your reception begins, I’ll play a song that’s meaningful to the two of you while you share a private dance together. It doesn’t interrupt the flow of your timeline—it creates a moment that’s completely yours before the celebration begins.

And honestly? I think every couple deserves a few minutes to simply soak in the fact that they’re finally married.
