“The Stone’s Silent Goodbye”
2024, installation with glazed stoneware, bronze with natural resin, candles and red jaspis

Whispers of Protection

In flickering light, the candles burn bright,
Guardians of the night, their warmth is our might.
Bronze gleams in the dusk, steadfast and true,
A shield for the soul, in a world anew.

Birdbath of stone, where waters reflect,
A sanctuary serene, where worries are swept.
Ceramic shield stands, with ancient lore,
A sentinel of grace, at the heart’s core.

Red jaspis shines, with fiery embrace,
A gem of the earth, bestowing its grace.
In rituals we find, a sacred connection,
Embraced by the circle, in realms of protection. by @julietskogen

Pour le dimanche de Pâques, j’ai invité 30 convives à partager un festin ensemble à la Chapelle Jeanne D’Arc, afin d’honorer l’artisanat de la cuisine.

The kitchen becomes an extension of the person who officiates there. Infusing each creation with its essence, its intention and vibratory signature.
Kitchens have traditionally, for better and for worse been a female territory.
In many cultures and for thousands of years,
knowledge of edible plants and their combined efficiency, food preparation and culinary talent were perceived as skills that women naturally would transmit to eachother.
A further predetermination which has ended up filling women’s lives with societal obligations.
Emancipating from this narrow narrative, it serves as an act of sisterhood.

It’s an act that connects us to the earth we come from, and to the earth which will return to in the end

honoring the act of nourishment.

With collecting herbs and vegetables,

cooking has again become a place of alchemy,

and the counter into an alter.

for us this is a magical and creative space

Thrown back in time. One year ago we shot the film “Days in the studio with Juliet S. Rączkowski” in Copenhagen and it reveals that the real transformation isnt material, but personal…creation as a slow, honest becoming. Creation isn’t about perfection, but about staying with the work long enough for it to change you.

Here’s a little bit of what creation can look like.
It’s not always linear, it does not always look like products and finished exhibitions, it might even feel like a defeat because the process is so slow that where’s the progress? Not being in school has meant no big machines and workshops, redefining my practice and finding new ways to express myself. Mostly I’ve been frustrated. Now I’m thankful. Thankful for the trees outside my window. Thankful for getting my hands in the soil. Knowing what it means to tend a garden, in both senses. And it has only just begun by @julietskogen

working in fragments that intertwine with my life is a part of my practice. Sometimes it takes time and walking through the dark, not knowing how it’s gonna come together is frustrating. This has been a time of finishing a big chapter in my life and starting a new one. A dedication to creation. A goodbye and a welcome for a new way. The unknown is frightening but important. This mural is a dedication to my chosen family, my family and every one supporting and standing by the process of doubt and change. I wouldn’t make what I do without all the inspiration I get from people around me. $«It was never cast in her lifetime» (2023–2025) Bronze, copper sulfate patina, and natural resin Transition has been a defining theme for me this year—a constant awareness of the world’s shifting tides, where beauty and brutality coexist. The weight of ongoing horrors has, at times, made creation feel futile. Yet, my search for meaning and humanity persists. Hope has become my resting space, entwined with action, a quiet defiance against despair. Returning to this piece, which first took shape in the fall of 2023, I find myself drawn to questions of power and authority—how they rise, fracture, and dissolve. What happens in a lifetime? What is built, what is lost, and what lingers in the echoes of what was never given form? I thank @alexschuchmann deeply for the beautiful photo. by @julietskogen$
