Good god how do you say it? This has been without doubt, the worst year of my entire life. My mother and best friend died in front of my eyes, despite my best efforts of climbing the walls with the NHS, we’ve self built the most enormous house which needs a lot of attention still, always trying to be a good mum. Thank god my freelance PR work is on fire 🔥 with so much to keep me occupied but viewers here don’t know that I’m riddled with ill health (ulcerativ colitis and more) and that my narcissistic (and I actually mean soul destroying, confidence eradicating, vicious parent) stepdad continues to make it all awful. Put it this way, the care home refuse to have him back! So in a nutshell, what I’m saying is all the cliches! Make hay whilst the sun shines! Life is short! I’ve basically lost so much, I’ll never be that carefree girl again and what a shock. I’m in my trench year and somehow know, I’ll rise again. by @julietwheaterpr

An absolute honour and a privilege to accompany long term client @galgormresort at the most prestigious and glitzy hospitality awards ceremony in London this week! The Cateys were held in London’s largest ballroom and the calibre of the hospitality talent in that vast room was immense. Congratulations Galgorm for being a finalist! So proud to work with this incredible, innovative and inspiring hotel group in NI. by @julietwheaterpr

Is it me or do people expect you to bounce back from the death of your mother, just because you’re an adult? I realise that every family dynamic is different as I have no concept of a good dad but why isn’t this devastation talked about? I’m 49 and I’ve obviously never lived without my best friend. The foundation of my life, has been completely torn from under my feet. Mothers are taken for granted and their loss, is immeasurable. My mum was funny, untidy and unknowingly bonkers and she loved her garden as much as tennis! Visiting her garden hurts as it’s unkept but still pretty in the late sunshine that she no longer sees. I read this poem for its double meaning, at her funeral. by @julietwheaterpr

Celebrating 17 years of married life. We had a great day together. A coffee date followed by a drive out to the Surrey Hills for lunch by the river (people and boat watching, he’d love a boat!) followed by the pinnacle, wardrobe shopping at ikea! 🤪 Thank you to my best friend who has helped me through the hardest, most devastating 6 months of my life. 💔❤️ by @julietwheaterpr

Roe Valley Resort is joining the Galgorm Collection family. If you ever wanted to visit beautiful Northern Ireland, there are now a selection of differing hotel experiences across the collection, from city centre to coastal, inland to riverside. I love this messaging with senior management, getting in on the act, that the waterslides @roevalleyresort are now open! by @julietwheaterpr
