Shine like the sun, shine on you crazy diamond — even at night! Electronic Music has been my everything since childhood, when I used to listen to @pinkfloyd with my parents. Over the years, I’ve explored so many genres — I’m a true music lover. But only Electronic Music holds a special place in my heart. It’s love at first beat — and it’ll last until the end of the Universe 💫

Who is this Julia? I wish I knew too — because I ask myself that question every single day. I’m sure many of you are just as curious, so let’s try to discover together who’s hiding on the other side of the lens.

In this blog, I’ll try to show you — through my passion for photography — who I am and what I can do. Let’s jump down the rabbit hole together, it’s going to be an interesting journey!

By the way, this cool shot of me in action, taken by my talented colleague Marc @40frames_ while we were shooting the party at @rudasstudios with the amazing @andhim_music and the fiery Maceo Plex @maceoplex in Düsseldorf, Germany.

It was an unforgettable day with Black Coffee. The music, the people, the energy — everything was just perfect. And when the maestro steps into the game, the vibrations instantly rise, it gets blazing hot — from emotions, dancing, and feelings you simply can’t hold back! And why should you? Pure bliss in the moment, just like with a real black coffee.

A breathtaking panoramic view over the night city from the incredible penthouse The Loft Amsterdam @theloft.amsterdam on the 16th floor of A’DAM Tower @adam_toren . The city glowing with ADE @amsterdamdanceevent lights and with my own fiery impressions — all wrapped in the hot rhythms of ANOTR @anotr.music at the No Art @noartmusic closing party ❤️‍🔥

To say it was colossal, powerful, and epic would still fall short. It was a true spectacle at Theater Amsterdam @theater.amsterdam — a real piece of HABITAT art by Mind Against @mindagainst and Audio Obscura ADE @audioobscura @amsterdamdanceevent . I’m still deeply impressed, and I get goosebumps every time I return to these memories!

Think about all the people you never would’ve met if it wasn’t for music. Music connects souls from every corner of the world — beyond skin color, culture, or worldview. It inspires, it unites, and it amplifies creativity. So get inspired, create boldly, and let life play through you — because it’s absolutely worth it.

📸 Day 28 of my 365-Day Photo Challenge — me in action at 24. February 2009. Dnipro, Ukraine.

It was an amazing party at an incredibly beautiful club called Nebo/Sky, which, sadly, no longer exists. Somewhere in my photo archives, I still have pictures of its stunning decor. The atmosphere was fantastic: great mood, good music, stylish people. What else do you need for a perfect night? Maybe just a few nice shots from a charming photographer 📷

Outlier party by the incredible English musician, producer and DJ Simon Green — better known as Bonobo @si_bonobo What I felt that night is hard to express in photos or words — I’ve probably listened to his tracks a million times. Huge thanks to the DGTL ADE @dgtlfestival @amsterdamdanceevent team and NDSM Warehouse at @ndsmartdistrict for creating such a deep, immersive atmosphere that turned this moment into a truly unforgettable memory 💙

📸 Day 2 of my 365-Day Photo Challenge — Keinemusik DJ Show at @wilhelmstudios September 23 2023 in Berlin.

This was my first photoshoot in over a year and a half since the full-scale war started in Ukraine back in February 2022. And my very first full @keinemusikcrue live set — absolutely mind-blowing!

Just before that, I was in Luxembourg at a party in @paradiso.luxembourg with André @andmeandyou on the release day of The Rapture Pt. III with @realblackcoffee — but that’s a whole different story 😉

German DJ and producer Bülent Gürler, aka Butch @cometobutch casting pure musical magic. And on the other side of the DJ deck — a whole crowd of magical characters dancing and celebrating what is probably the most enchanted night of the year, all the way until morning. What a night it was — words can hardly describe it.

Scientists have long proven that the music you love has a positive effect on both your physical and mental health. Because music is vibration, vibration is energy, and energy is the essence of everything — it’s life itself. And if you add a little dancing, it becomes not only joyful but also healing. So listen, enjoy, dance — and let your life flow in rhythm with the Universe. You’re gonna love it!
