Change of scenery 🇮🇹

Don’t let the gloomy skies fool you—my day trip to Maastricht was still an absolute blast. ☔️🌈

Explored dramatic squares and moody old churches, because nothing says ‚relaxing day off‘ like existential architecture. And according to Gemini, the rain just added a certain je ne sais quoi to the whole experience, making every photo extra atmospheric. 🇳🇱

Also: A bookstore in an old church? I’m sold 📚⛪️

1. & 2. The above mentioned bookstore (and café!) in an old church 📖
3. & 4. Some impressions of rainy Maastricht 🇳🇱
5. A cloister in „Onze Lieve Vrouw Sterre der Zee Basiliek“ ⛪️
6. The statue „Pieke oet de Stokstraot“ based on a figure from a novel by the Dutch author Bèr Hollewijn 🐕
7. A bit of shopping 🛍️
8. No city left visited without a matcha tried 🍵
9. „ Sladká bodka” - something sweet to end the day 😋

Long time no trend.
I have landed a dream job at Google, amazing friends, and a great time in Dublin. But I knew, this was not what I wanted to do. So instead I packed my bags once again and moved to Prague 🇨🇿I then:
• Started my own marketing agency
• Enrolled in masters while running the business
• and am now living my best life in Prague

Sometimes the best therapy is proving yourself wrong and building the life you’ve always dreamed of.

Prague decided to stop being dramatic with the weather and actually gave us some vitamin D ☀️

It’s funny to see all the people suddenly sprinting into Prague‘s parks because the sun finally decided to make a guest appearance after what felt like 84 years of hibernation 🏃‍♀️

And yes, this is your sign to visit Prague when it’s not:
a) freezing your face off
b) melting into tourist soup
c) looking like that one grey filter everyone used in 2016

New York taught me that pizza slices are big enough, subway rides are long enough, and Central Park is green enough...

But most importantly - being exactly who you are is MORE than enough ✨

(Though I wouldn’t mind being tall enough to see over the crowd at Times Square 😅)

Decided to finally post some more from my trip to New York and thought this was the appropriate first reel… 🦅🗽

When you finally book that trip ✈️

Before flying to New York City again, I still need to share photos from my last trip in 2018 🗽
Before my last trip I posted a throwback to the first time I visited the city, which now is almost 10 years ago! Crazy how time flies ✈️
So excited because I really love this city! So here are a few impressions from teen-me visiting:
1. Strolling through Central Park in the mornings 🌇
2. View from the „top of the rock“ - Rockefeller center. My last tb to my trip in 2015 was from here as well 🏙️
3. The tourist-spot! Timesquare, where I had an amazing time at the M&M store 😜
4. Another morning in Central Park, but this time not so chill but a morning run 🏃🏽‍♀️
5. Visiting Brooklyn and enjoying the skyline! So in love with this view ❤️
6. No NYC trip is complete without the Natural history museum. Posing with my favorite Dino (stegosaurus)🦖
7. Visiting the financial district (happy I don’t work in finance, but I could get used to the district 💰
8. And an obligatory yellow can and US-schoolbus picture 🚌
