Today I came across a reel by @salvador_couto_ . I’ve always admired fearless people like him, and I genuinely enjoy following their journey.In the video, he’s riding a ten-meter wave, then smoothly exits the line where his partner picks him up on a jet ski.What caught my attention wasn’t just the wave—it was the perspective.From the jet ski, on the back side of the wave, you don’t actually see the massive wall of water. All you see is the ocean’s surface rising gently before settling back down again. You would never imagine that just a few meters away, on the other side, there’s a giant wave towering above.Everything in life depends on perspective.When I read a book, I don’t simply follow the story—I build the world of its characters in my own imagination. Recently, my daughter and I talked about the same book and realized we had experienced two completely different stories.Even a contract can be interpreted in different ways.The very same words can mean something entirely different to another person because each of us hears them through the lens of our own experiences.Photography makes this especially obvious. Light and perspective can completely change the final image.What one person finds breathtaking, another may not appreciate at all.Someone may feel poor, while another person looks at the very same life and thinks, “They have everything.”We all live on our own side of the wave. by @julveart

Неважливо чого.Якщо дівчині так необхідна корона, подарована сторонніми людьми, варто чесно запитати себе: «Чому?»Можливо, тобі колись не вистачило відчуття, що тебе люблять просто за те, що ти є. Можливо, тато недостатньо часто говорив, що ти — найкрасивіша дівчинка у світі. А можливо, ти просто так і не навчилася відчувати власну цінність без чужого схвалення.Якщо відповідь — «так», то навряд чи корона справді допоможе. Вона лише на короткий час створить ілюзію того, що тебе нарешті визнали.Для багатьох конкурси давно стали бізнесом, де краса — лише частина великого механізму. Тому не варто плутати титул зі справжньою цінністю жінки.Ти станеш відомою лише серед доволі вузького кола людей, які живуть цим світом. Тебою почнуть захоплюватися чоловіки, для яких ти — чергова вершина, яку потрібно підкорити. Так само, як хтось мріє про Ferrari чи сумку Birkin. Не тому, що без цього неможливо жити, а тому, що це підвищує статус в очах оточення.На жаль, дуже часто саме такі чоловіки шукають не партнерку, а красивий аксесуар поруч із собою. І за зовнішнім успіхом нерідко ховаються такі самі внутрішні порожнечі, які вони намагаються заповнити чужою кра by @julveart

The best fishermen are definitely in our family. Mom will never go hungry! 🎣😄By the way, it was my first time trying mahi-mahi (also known as dolphinfish). The locals call it “chicken of the sea” because its flavor is so similar to white chicken meat. It was absolutely delicious! 🤤 by @julveart
