2026 NESCAC CHAMPIONSHIPS @ WILLIAMS

This weekend, the Jumbo vaulters had their eyes set on victory. Nine strong, they took the competition by a storm, collecting 30 points across the men’s and women’s teams. The women even took 6 out of the top 10 spots in the event. The Jumbos exceeded all expectations, culminating in Emma’s record-breaking 3.87m jump!

On the men’s side (Day 1), Ryder cleared 4.45m for an 11th place finish. Alejandro claimed 4.60m with a huge PR, scoring 6th place. Jonas posted a clean 4.75m, finishing in 4th!

We thought the weather couldn’t get any better after Day 1—boy, were we wrong! Amelie cleared 3.00m (10th) and Natalie 3.15m (9th). Elena and Valia tied for 5th with smooth 3.30m jumps. Lena leaped to 4th place by clearing 3.45m. Emma vaulted not just 3.75m, not just 3.82m (PR), but 3.87m—a personal record, meet record, and outdoor school record!!

We couldn’t be prouder of the Jumbo vaulters—their months of hard work came together magnificently. The pole vault success was key for the men’s NESCAC runner-up finish and the women’s title as NESCAC Champions for the first time since 2013!

None of this would have been possible without Coach Ingrid and the rest of the TUTF coaching team!

We’re not done—onto the post-season!!! 🐘 by @jumbo_vault
