Happy 30th to ME ‼️

Took the BIGGEST leap of faith of my life ! Hands down scariest thing I’ve done and couldn’t have been more excited to face fears of the unknown right in its face. I’ve been doing a lot of healing and growing lately. I’ve been making choices for MYSELF. I’ve started going to therapy, and I truly feel I am walking through pathway I should be. This was an EXHILARATING experience, and I’m ngl I was sked as 🤐 them first few moments, this 90 second free fall felt like both an eternity and a blink of an eye. I’m so glad I did it, I’m thankful God’s plan for me didn’t end here 😅 and that’s another ✔️ off the bucket list 😁

Never could have imagined actually losing a Line Brother at such a young age.. it’s surreal to come to terms with, but it’s a reminder that Life is short and to cherish the moments you have.. which I’m glad I did with Jimmie! This man was always the life of a party, and of all people I know, Jimmie truly lived his life to the FULLEST! “Jimmie got SOUL” is all that comes to mind when I think of him, and I’m thankful for the times we’ve had. I could always rely on Jimmie bringing the ENERGY, as well as being a true BROTHER! Anything you needed, if he saw you as a trustworthy to him, you were in good hands. I could go on and on about the passion Jimmie brought and the impact he had on those around him. The 12 Executives Of A Blu Enterprise may physically never be able to all be together again, but the memories and Jimmie doing all that Jigging will always remain in our hearts. Blessed is an understatement to say the least. Thankful for the opportunity to have began as the Assistant Short Sprints & Jumps Coach at Mississippi Valley State University !

This past month has been a lot of change, but the transition has been smooth! Learning campus, getting to know my athletes, and helping them to grow as individuals has been a fun and challenging task ! But it’s one I’m appreciative for and look forward to helping to build up this program to new heights ! Outdoor Szn is here !

One last year in my twenties. And let me tell you, they certainly ROARED !

In my short time on Earth, I’ve been blessed with wonderful life experiences. I’m grateful and appreciative to have seen what I’ve seen and what God will continue to allow me to see. Turning 29, I’ve reflected on the past decade and decided to acknowledge the growth and development from when I was 20 in 2015 all the way to the present !

After 3 years, my time at Montevallo has come to a close. What a chapter of life this University and these athletes have brought me ! From being a Traveling Freelance Photographer, Personal Trainer, and Model to Coaching has been a journey. Never saw myself coaching (this early) in my life, but God has made ways and moved mountains in ways I never imagined. My love for mentoring and helping others has grown evermore, and I am proud to say that Montevallo will always hold a special place in my heart 🫶🏾. It’s provided me opportunity, and a chance to find a way to enjoy life through “work”. Helping to build Championship Grounds has been great, but this has been my last year here. I’ve decided to accept a position at another institution leading into this upcoming season.

To my athletes, you know the work you’ve put in, and you know your worth. Keep up the effort, and stay consistent. I’m proud of you all, and I wish you all the best !

As for me, stayed tuned for the next chapter 🤫

If you want to shine in front of everybody, you have to work in front of nobody..

GSC Conference Championships at Home was a success! I hope and feel confident that we put on a great meet, and there were great performances across the board! First championships in the conference for me personally where I didn’t have a Conference Champion, but I feel the most proud about this meet overall because I feel we’re developing a championship culture and an environment where we’re working toward that goal. Our athletes are working hard, and putting forth their best effort as a whole. It’s truly something special going on here at the Nest !

Very proud with how the athletes performed, and it’s amazing to see the progression over the past few years I’ve been here. Really special freshman class and we’ve got more athletes coming in for next year, so it is an exciting time to be a Falcon. Here’s a calm luh recap of the championship meet:
