🇫🇷✨ Off to Paris! @jumpstart.space is proud and excited to invite and support @joostvermeer as he travels to Paris to participate in Permission to Meet, the second activity of our international project Permission to Try. Developed and organised by @club_707 in collaboration with @backhaus_projects and JumpstArt this weekend programme brings together artists, creatives and cultural professionals from across Europe to connect, learn and exchange ideas. On June 27–28, participants will explore the Parisian artistic ecosystem through studio visits and workshops. For Joost, this experience is first and foremost an opportunity to further develop his artistic practice, engage with new ideas and expand his network. Sophie Mak-Schram @makschram works across art, art historical research and radical pedagogies to engage others in place-specific work around power, collectivity, knowledges and futures. She's currently Lecturer in Fine Art at Cardiff Metropolitan University, part of BAK Basecamp for Tactical Imaginaries, and Structural Change Artist at Metal.
