Lately I’ve been thinking about the tension between expansion and stillness.

There’s no real ceiling to ambition; money, skill, recognition… they can keep stretching endlessly. But time doesn’t stretch with us. The body doesn’t either.

We’re driven by a mind that wants to move faster, reach further, become more
yet we exist inside something that asks us to pause, to rest, to feel.

The work of figuring out the sweet spot of progress while honoring my humanity has been a tricky one.
