Walked out to the shore of the great salt lake until my feet were wet and shorebirds began to gather in the slight tributaries. Lots of intact skeletons of animals crystallized by the salt & mineral content. I think it took around 2 miles from where we parked at Lee creek and another 2 to return by @june4th1991

Here are 90 faces I drew for an assignment (seminar which explores the effects of forced repetition). The first sheet is all family members and the second some of my friends. The third half-sheet includes ten of my mentors.

These made me laugh for how little they resemble the people & photographs they draw reference from. The intention was more to be attentive to the procedure than to faithfully depict anybody— I considered uploading the photos with axes such that they could be “guessed” but decided against it. Feel free to look around at your leisure. No tags:-) by @june4th1991

Becomes very clear in retrospect how important YBWA has been for me these past few yrs. Seemingly endless murmurations of life & glimpses into a migratory and biological scope which expands far outside of the county & California. Maybe It is hard to imagine my life unaware of the patterns & maps this place has taught me to read more closely? Today I am thinking of the hours walking here & the sound of the Bittern by @june4th1991
