Had a lovely day yesterday showing my new Canadian friend Jan young around my lovely city as a.big Beatles fan as Jan is had to show her some of the beatles related sights from Gambier terrace where John and stu Sutcliffe lived flat 3 if your asking to ye cracke where John and Paul used to go to also the jacaranda , I also took her to st Pete's tavern, the Phil ,the big house not on a pub crawl but to see the magnificent surroundings .
Also a trip to Central library catching up with colleagues and friends including Sandra Richards Jo rushton Jude pinto Paul Keogh Karen wade Jackie Owens Thomas Allen Elle Dan so many
And to top it all they were filming in the Picton library part, after they had finished we walked in and bumped into Ross Kemp as you do he was filming a piece there about a rare book he was very nice and was kind of him to come back in later to meet one of his biggest fans Jo rushton with a bit of help from me and Sandra !
Despite the weather torrential rain twice we had a glorious day and Jan managed to get her fish and chips in the Phil later on .
The most amazing thing happened as we were walking back to her hotel the heavens opened again but this nice young man in a very fancy car stopped and said would youike these and handed us 2 umbrellas from the back of his car I had a new telescopic one and Jan a nice umbrella talk abou k ind as we were both soaked ,don't know who he was but he had a personalised number plate unless he was a chauffeur but nevertheless thanks .very kind ., Jan enjoyed our little tour she's on another trip today hope I didn't wear her out but enjoyed the day and have made a new friend .enjoy rest of your trip round UK and Scotland Jan . by @june6571

Lovely to bump into and catch up with Jan. CHew and her lovely family what a great choice for a little brunch .
Copious amounts of tea I had also a gorgeous moist chocolate orange cake was delicious

Baker Js thanks to Julie baked potato with tuna cheese home made coleslaw and corn other salad options available Julie was such a hard working pleasant person too Warrington market best foodmarket in UK according to stats there's a bar here too very like Altrincham market only wider Jane Stuart SusanMaster buzzing of an early evening here.Also known as the cookhouse whole area I like the booths where you can plug your phone in other tables are available taken in Warrington Market by @june6571

What a lovely place never been before Pez like mature d and ex manager of Royal court spotted Kierans t shirt and said he was a friend of Eithne Brown Liverpool is a village as Kieran is friends with the ex brookside actress
too
Later had a nice chat with Charlie and jean 2 regulars and had a nice evening with Laurel and her husband Dave they were here for a couple of days or so they are travelling round the UK they live in Nebraska but favd lived in Chicago as well we were laughing about the green mill club Ian foster

It was nice to try the famous cheese board with them and enjoyed a nice glass of Grenache all very nice and as we are our food the music camd on and we had a live jazz band all in all a special day thanks again for inviting me Kieran Mahoney . by @june6571

A little day out from 10 am this morning with Kieran Mahoney more photos to follow
Albert Schloss for tea The Angel inn. For a light lunch new place on bold st used to be Maggie mays
A quick trip to st Pete's tavern aka Alma de Cuba Kieran was so impressed then off to the royal court via the big house to watch take me home county rd a very impressive local play written by young Adam mcoy who played Bev's son josh in brookside now all grown up and writing and starring in his own stuff a very talented young man abkey supported by keddy Sutton Lynn Frances who stepped in at the last minute to take on a lead role due to illness and of course Helen carter who was amazing as Shelley a. Fabulous singer who had her second chance of fame she's a good actress and a powerful singer she brought the house down with I will always love you .an enjoyable afternoon and nice to go backstage and meet the cast later also lovely to meet Alan who's a big blue and had some fascinating stories
Enjoyed seeing the guest book of royal court all the lead actors who played there had signed including sir Michael Palin . by @june6571

At the yard Hill Dickinson stadium men in blazers podcast had a great time enjoyed meeting Tracey and rowan Tracey ex BA stewardess and rowan her Aussie hubby of 30 years both big blues rowan big fan of tim Cahill as from same place .
Bob was great who did the podcast very enthusiastic was very busy 400 people screens about as a few big heads enjoyed seeing Jimmy garner Hayden hackney Christian norgard so lovely and kdh who was really nice and a big fan fave .
I met some lovely fabs too Steve who I thought was a former player 73 years old and working for Everton in the community as helper with dementia and he still coaches badminton such a nice guy his son came over from Berlin for the podcast .

Nice to meet bob too who helmed it all I told him my brother went to the new York one when efc played over there also there was a young girl there with her dad who had been the last podcast in new York Ian foster all in all a great night enjoyed the free drink we got too . taken in Hill Dickinson Stadium by @june6571

Afternoon in my home town on a glorious day bombed out church Albert dock pan am for tea and towards pier head for chill afterwards so good makes you appreciate your home city and now I understand what the tourists like about us and the city ,scenic and just chillin now I'm just checking out what looks a big ship at the pier head at the cruise terminal .
One thing my dad and uncle and me had in common we all like the sea my dream us to win the lottery and get a place overlooking it maybe not on the state pension 😂 but it's a nice dream . taken in Liverpool, United Kingdom by @june6571

Photo dump of a little day out I took yesterday went round Lark Lane sefton park ended up at the Aigburth Arms a place I hadn't been since 1983 they had the first video jukebox box remember them I used to travel from anfiejd with my mate to go to it then into town to a club happy days .
I also bumped into ex colleague and friend Angela I hadn't seen her in about 5 years we lost touch so randomly bumped into her in old police station lark lane looking for dvds CDs in a charity flea market good too .
Now we can go and have a nice coffee somewhere and reconnect great to see her Liverpool is like a village I have found earlier on I bumped into another ex colleague happy days . taken in Sefton Park, Liverpool by @june6571

New coffee shop by me im in and it's a goodie just 8 weeks old lovely great new addition to garston village which with it's new pubs and bistros is fast becoming up and coming .
Located opposite at Mary's church and gates of Cressington .
Open every day array of fab coffees decaff also and teas and amazing cookies muffins and something that's a cross between croissant and muffin nice though will be back free biscoffs to go with your coffee too and dog friendly .tables outside to and water bowls for your dog catering for everyone .
The added bonus some of these muffins cakes are made by Nadia from bake off so really good by @june6571

some nice memories to finish with spent morning wandering to orange cafe on South orange Ave then to the cinema I spent 2 great evenings in sopac this afternoon headed to maplewood with the nice house s and to the outer Borough deli for a fab green goddess bowl now in the airport sad but hopefully back soonish for my next trip . taken in South Orange, New Jersey by @june6571
