Title: Transduce Gaze Fluidify Walls
Medium: installation

Graduation Tour HEAD - Genève June 2025 @head_interaction

This installation brings together multiple sculptures with sound to explore the coexistence of fragility and fluidity. I reflect on the complexity of nonbinary identities and the experience of being raised and read through female socialisation.
The structure in the middle holds the costume of my diploma performance that happened at Porteous. It is inspired by a fish walking on land, the mudskipper, which carries backfins similar to wings. Around the structure,
on the walls and on the floor, are fixed a series of mixed media sculptures connected by cables. They hold transducers inside, which transform the surfaces into speakers for an underwater sound I recorded in the river Rhône.
I combine these recent works with the structure I created as a bar for the school in my second year of the bachelor. It is a space created to be as open as possible while still providing a specific cocoon as an alternative to the blue building. It is also a sculpture created out of shattered and rejoined abandoned windows. Last but not least, the piece I created for the Big Simili Show in 2022, inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s installations, invites the viewer to enter endless mirrored perspectives of the whole installation.
The space is meant to be noticed from all its sides and discovered in all its corners.
I work as a sound, sculpture, and installation artist with an assembling and improvisational approach. These projects are a direct tool for me to resist societal constraints placed on queer and female assigned bodies.

I added the banner #silenceiscomplicity to my installation because I wanted to attract the visitors attention for the genocide in Palestine which is ignored by the HES-SO and HEAD.

After the movement for Palestine at the artschool was tired out by the repression & oppressing bureaucracy of the administration we started to organise food pop ups at the school in order to donate money to Palestinian families in Gaza.

Eligibility: Open to anyone curious about creativity and the connection between sound and visual art.

Born in London under the name “Harmony in Motion, Echoes of Connection,” led by Gold and Spike (@echoesofconnection), this unique workshop series arrived in Geneva in 2025, hosted by artists Gold Kim and June Schade (@soundbuddyy). Most recently, it was held independently in Tokoname, Japan, in 2025.

/////////What happens when you listen to sound and let it move through you visually?/////////

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore ways of translating sound into visual expression. Through creative exercises and practical techniques, you’ll experiment with how rhythm, texture, movement, emotion, and personal interpretation can become visual forms.
You’ll also develop a performance piece inspired by your own relationship with sound, creating an opportunity to explore not only what you hear, but how sound moves you.

No previous artistic experience is required ! Just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

→ Jeanne, artiste multidisciplinaire (danse, violon, cirque), cherche à donner du sens au mouvement pur pour contribuer à la société. Inspirée par le théâtre et la musique, elle intègre le son comme personnage et n’utilise le mouvement que si nécessaire, guidée par l’émotion. « Did You Know That... » est sa pièce solo inaugurale.

→ Untitled Bassline II est une performance sonore qui connecte une recherche de textile durable avec une installation sonore recyclée. Le projet explore une nostalgie bricolée, des souvenirs remixés. Les frictions guident la forme chorégraphique et sonore vers des rendus incertains ou le son se déforme au contact du textile.

→ Franst explore la coexistence de la fragilité et de la fluidité dans des performances sonores live. À travers une trompette amplifiée, une guitare et des pédales d’effets, le son est abordé comme un matériau sensible et instable, mais aussi réconfortant, capable de générer des états de vulnérabilité et de transformation partagés avec le public. Franst est apparu à ACT (Genève, Zurich, Berne), à Bad Bonn (Düdingen), ainsi que dans divers espaces indépendants en Suisse et à Berlin. Franst est le projet de June Schade (pas de pronoms, accords masculins), artiste interdisciplinaire basé entre Genève et Berne, diplômé de la HEAD – Genève en arts visuels. June a présenté son travail à LiveInYourHead (Genève), à la Kunsthalle am Hamburger Platz et au Wasserturm Prenzlauer Berg (Berlin), à JKON (Olten) et à l’Espace Annexe (Bienne).

Die 10 Gläser Gonfi, die noch im Keller stehen und der viel zu süsse DIY-Ingwerschnaps, die selbstgehäkelte Handbag und die Ohrringe aus Fimo. Sie alle finden eine neue Bleibe und bekommen die zweite Liebe, die sie verdienen. Der Samstag wird zum Wimmelbild, der Club zum Fundbüro 3000 und die Wühlkisten schunkeln gemütlich im Takt der Musik: Es wird flohmilicious!

Dans le cadre de la Nuit des Musées 2026 à Fribourg, WallStreet invite l’artiste June Schade @june_schade pour une performance sonore. L’exposition en cours d’Élie Autin @elie.autins sera également visible. / Im Rahmen der Museumsnacht 2026 in Freiburg lädt WallStreet June Schade zu einer Klangperformance ein. Die laufende Ausstellung von Élie Autin ist ebenfalls zu sehen.

FRANST
Improvisation choisie, trompette amplifiée, noise réconfortant Franst explore la coexistence de la fragilité et de la fluidité dans des performances sonores live.

À travers une trompette amplifiée, une guitare et des pédales d’effets, le son est abordé comme un matériau sensible et instable, mais aussi réconfortant, capable de générer des états de vulnérabilité et de transformation partagés avec le public.

La performance aura lieu à WallStreet (Varis 10-12) à partir de 19:00.

FRANST
Gewählte Improvisation, verstärkte Trompete, tröstlicher Noise Franst erforscht in LiveKlangperformances das Zusammenspiel von Fragilität und Fluidität.

Durch eine verstärkte Trompete, eine Gitarre und Effektpedale wird Klang als sensibles und instabiles, zugleich aber auch tröstliches Material verstanden, das Zustände von Verletzlichkeit und Transformation erzeugen kann, die mit dem Publikum geteilt werden.

Die Klangperformance findet ab 19:00 Uhr in der WallStreet (Varis 10–12) statt.
