Big thank you to @ups for featuring @junedragonflybox on their IG and LinkedIn accounts this month! I'm so grateful to UPS and so many of the amazing people I've met at their HQ for supporting my business literally since the first gift box I mailed last summer. Stayed up way too late prepping for my first holiday market of the season, but this moment made my whole evening! A quick visit… hug… a little encouragement really means SO much when you’re building a small business! Grateful June Dragonfly could be the gifting partner for last Sunday’s @sportspowerbrunch: Women in Baseball event, held during MLB All-Star Week at the Four Seasons Atlanta. Love when my passion for women in sports and gifting collide. Eternally thankful to SPB founder @latonyastory for believing in our company and I'm always inspired by the way she shines a spotlight on women making a powerful impact in sports. The event was flawlessly executed by LaTonya and her amazing team. We were so proud to be part of such a meaningful event that honored phenomenal women in the game, including my former colleague Catie Griggs, President of Business Operations for the Baltimore Orioles; Lonnie Murray, CEO of Sports Management Partners; and Raquel Ferreira, EVP and Assistant GM of the Boston Red Sox. Our team put together more than 250 customized bags for attendees, honorees and staff. The bags were filled with thoughtful items from generous sponsors, including @NewEraCap hats. Over half of the attendees received one from their favorite MLB team, while the rest received official MLB All-Star hats, as well as a few extras curated by yours truly. This was our biggest in-person event to date, and we worked hard to make sure everything was just right. I’m so thankful to my intern @xo_maymai, husband and kids for their support and understanding over the past few months. I truly couldn’t have done it without them. I've been really struggling to TRULY find the words to capture how BEAUTIFUL this Saturday's Black Girl Book Fair was... but I will try! There were THOUSANDS of people who came through with the main purpose of supporting amazing bookstores, vendors and authors! There was so much JOY and LOVE at every turn. My deepest thanks to @braveandkindbooks, @shopthebookworm, @44thand3rdbookseller, @thebookcellaratl, @asmallplacebookshop and @allthingsinspirationgift for curating the most phenomenal event and including over 20 vendors from the community! You all were organized, helpful and were so happy for us and our crowded booths and sold out products! I have so much gratitude for the HUNDREDS of beautiful people who came through my booth! You all were so kind... so patient... so FLY! Thank you for the stories you shared of meeting other June Dragonfly customers out in the wild or sharing that you came by because of a video you saw on social. You all lifted me up and affirmed why I started June Dragonfly... to share the unique and beautiful products from amazing women-owned brands from across the country! Special thanks to my bestie @tonieellis who flew into town to help me. In addition to literally standing by my side all day, she helped with set up, tear down and helped me pack up the warehouse. Thank you and love you friend!! Big thanks to my husband Trey and my children for coming through to bring me treats I didn't have time to eat, taking some pics and helping me pack up before the downpour! Love you all! It's July 7th and June Dragonfly is 3 years old! 🎉 I'm so proud of what I've accomplished over these past 3 years. (I feel like I NEVER say that enough both to myself and out loud. Need to do better this year!) I started this company at 47 with hardly any knowledge of this industry other than being a customer and client of gifting companies over the years. So proud that after three years, June Dragonfly has grown from a gift box company to a gifting company servicing not only phenomenal individuals but also amazing organizations across the country. There could never be enough words to thank EVERYONE who has supported me and June Dragonfly over the past three years... and honestly the 10+ years prior to that when I dreamt of having a gifting business... but THANK YOU ALL! To my friends and family who have shared and celebrated my wins... listened to me vent... given me GRACE... helped me pack up boxes or pack up after a vending event... liked a video... purchased a box... referred my business... THANK YOU! To my clients... who have trusted June Dragonfly with sending a gift to their loved ones... their clients... their potential clients... their employees... their retreat guests... their conference attendees...
