It’s been awhile sharing the stoke so here is my 2026 summer has been. Work is extremely busy but still heading out for my “ me time “ for paddling. .
.
Time to time partial torn biceps plays around on me but hanging in there like old body, young minds and keep going.
.
Going around in circle and zigzagging at Mini Kiddie Pool is still my thing but nothing better than good sweat and vitamin D!
.
Looking forward to fall season for my fav time of the year for paddling.

Just happen to see @seychelle.love video few days ago on grip position on your paddle. Figure I check out mine and pretty dead on. I have two grip separated by 1” gap that is my neutral position. Great tips on having that correct position help you to paddle better. @junethemachine perfected already 😁

I urge you to grab your paddle and check your grip position. Could be more efficient and could go even faster!

Last Saturday I was out for paddling and just about I was leaving I saw an old lady pumping BOTE inflatables with Steller kayak in the roof of red FIAT 500. As I was passing her I told the lady nice kayak. I was end ip talking her for a few and find out this 70’s lady was quite active water person. She told me used to live in Wilimington, NC so I said I used to race down there. She said me too! I was like Carolina Cup?. “YES” she says. I told her if she knew @johnbeausang ? Said “No”but she podium 1st place in her age class for Money Island. I told her I have podium in Money Island too! I mentioned about Chattajack too and she knew that event.

You don’t come cross too many story like that at all. It was nice to share these events. By the way her name was Pam and she was ready to hit the water as I left the lake.

2026 Sunday paddle confession. 😜 It’s been 200 days since I hold my @infinity_sup gear. I lost 15lbs or so since I made a decision to hang up the paddle to hit the goal. To be honest I had 3more lbs to loose but it has been dormant at 176lbs. Not only that I was busy for 90days day and night with Bank refresh job. I had to take a break this past week and I was not home at night in 90 days. Got the body back in the rhythm and went to #jacobsonpark for the late season.
.
I was quite excited to get back on water. Only took few minutes to get the feel back and rest is history.

Balance ✅
One leg ✅
Cross leg✅
Steps✅
PAddle Stroke ✅
Heart Rate✅
.
All in all I felt pretty good and break in a little. It was 80F and relatively dry day made nice day to be out.
.
Looking forward to get back out now that I’m thinner like I was decade ago.
.
I saw my Ohana was racing at Hawasee River.

Congrats to all that made to @chattajack registration in record times.

Just a little story for coffee sipping.. our paddle friend Jim Powell message me earlier this week. His family member is graduating college in Kentucky and they choose my old stomping ground “ Freeman Lake” for graduation party. He googled and here I am still face of Elizabethtown Tourism website!

Yes, no CJ for me after my torn bicep but I’m still here remembering where I started and continue to support the paddle passion at my “Kiddie Pool’

Last time I paddle was my old stomping ground at #freemanlake at #elizabethtownkentucky. Soon after I had some physical and while nothing wrong with me but triglycerides and glucose has been little on high side. Doc said I need to loose weight some. I put myself in #maintenance mode!😆.
.

At the same time I picked up @humehealth band and Pod which help looking data of my changes in once glance. So far looking good and working more put back in to my cycling days. Thats long long time ago.
.
Another add-on is @jaycutler supplement taking L-Carnitine to help some burns. Taking supplants I used take back in day I was in weightlifting. Like those days Jay and Ronnie was competing each others !
.
I had few of good weather for paddle but I did hang up my paddle for little bit and committed myself to put back in shape like I’m going to register for SUP Race.

Way overdue to t be at my old stomping grounds at #freemanlake today. Not that I haven’t been back to #elizabethtown in awhile but just didn’t had chance paddle with busy work load.
.
That feel I get when I pulled in is no like other place. Love this place to paddle and missing too much. It was not extremely hot weather like back in July but it was still steamy August.

Can’t wait to be back again!

Such a honor to share the lake with @caverunsailing today. Thank you for the club to let me allow to hop on water before their club race. Little over 4miles on a windy day at #jacobsonpark. Sailing boat was moving with gust 32mph and watch the first leg of the race.

Official meteorological spring paddle today at #lexingtonky.

#zoomzoom , #zoomies and @junethemachine spring shots. Weather is too gorgeous to miss this 70F weather! Car just detailed over the weekend by none other than #jackofalltrades ,me. @chemicalguys carbon force ceramic coating shining my car !
