September 2026.

Slowly transitioning into fall, with our kids starting middle school and high this year (“time flies” is a major understatement). Hanging out with friends returning from their adventures far and wide. Catching a sleeping Mewtwo.

@lucyredsalt and I started doing weekly-ish lunch dates earlier in the year but stopped as summer kicked off — trying to bring those back. That wagyu + uni hand roll from @shiki_omakase though.

Flew into Saint Louis to see friends and see @thrice but unfortunately they had to cancel — bummer, but things happen. Health and safety come first. The @worldchesshof was a fun consolation prize(?). I still ended up seeing them at @brooklynparamount anyway(!) and they absolutely smashed it. Was it ever a question?

October will be more hectic. Here we go. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @juneyham

Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Why are the Disney Cruise Line’s chicken tenders so addicting? Also, I lost count how many servings we had on our trip…

August 2026.

Summer in full swing. Baking focaccia, eating tinned fish (@mercadocentralnyc), hitting Master 20 in @pokemonsleep_kabigon_official for the first time. You know, important things!

Last but not least, a @disneycruiseline adventure with my family (my mom’s first!) — Hercules, Sanctum, Palo, and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. As always, props to @lucyheartmickey for masterminding the whole thing! Tacked on Miami for a minute before heading home. Thank you @andazmiamibeach for the soft landing en route to The Real World.

We did a thing.
It involved Champagne.
A lot of it.
Also food … and Champagne.
Thank you La Fête du Champagne for reminding us why we live in NYC!
Also wonderful to run into friends while having way too much to drink! 🤦🏻‍♀️

It was all struggle bus for me pretending to be a watchmaker for the evening at @jaegerlecoultre’s Reverso Stories exhibit in the city earlier this week. I’ve always known that it takes incredible discipline and skill to put these tiny machines together — now that I know first-hand how incapable I am at making watches, I’ll stick to buying them.
🤣

Thank you @nyc_watch_crew and the @jaegerlecoultre team (Anne-Laure, Marcelo, Sara, Stephane and everyone else I missed) for such a cool workshop! taken in Iron23 by @juneyham

Fantastic recent dinner at @saintjulivertbk — date nights with @lucyredsalt are worth their weight in gold! Thank you @alexraij and your team for a stunning meal. Everything was delicious, but the boudin was a standout. 🙌🙌🙌 taken in Saint Julivert by @juneyham

Happy birthday to @lucyredsalt! We went to the Tin Building (@tinbuilding) to look around and have lunch at T. Brasserie. Our son had the day off (but unfortunately not our daughter 😭) so he joined us for lunch and we had a blast! Lunch was great and then we spent a little time walking through the stores including Mercantile, Mercantile East and Spoiled Parrot, the over-the-top candy shop that recently opened.

Incredible, hypnotic exhibit by Refik Anafol, titled “Unsupervised” at @themuseumofmodernart (through March 5).

I stood there, completely transfixed.

I guess that’s the power of art, of visual impact.
