The latest (finally)!!! "Smoke Tree", 8" x 10" / 20cm x 25cm, acrylic on panel.

It's obviously summer, after the smoke tree has bloomed. The yellow-flowered desert marigold starts blossoming in the spring, but it can continue to flower throughout the summer. by @jungeart

"The Sonoita Mountains," 8" x 10" / 20cm x 25cm.

The view shows the Sonoita Mountains of Mexico as seen from Organ Pipe National Monument in Arizona. These rocks are my favorite desert mountains to paint, which I've done many times. Love 'em! 😊 by @jungeart

The latest painting. Haven't decided on a title yet. But it's a desert bighorn sheep in the low desert.

I'm used to painting landscapes with critters out there, doing whatever it is critters do. This time I focused on the critter, and the landscape is minimal. I stepped out of my comfort zone to do this piece. by @jungeart

"Joshua Trees with Bunnies"

Joshua Tree National Park is one of my favorite places. The mountain in the background is one of my favorite hills in the Park, and desert cottontail bunny-rabbits are one of my favorite critters! I love seeing the desert dandelions in the springtime, too -- this painting features a lot of things that I love. taken in Joshua Tree National Park California by @jungeart

"Supersttitions" -- the name of the Arizona mountains and, possibly, the name of the mystique that surrounds these rocks!
