Even when you build your own door, if you’re not done with some lessons that life is trying to teach you, there will still be people, situations trying to burn your door. Always be ready to build, to create your own lane.

One day, you will be at miles away of your destroyers. Keep on rising. When they go down, you elevate.

It’s a funny game.
It’s, a funny game.
It’s a funny… game.

By the way, the song is called "Unethical" from my second album: Golden Stone. Check it out.

Thank you my brotha @djshowzzie for the video. Without this, it would have been lost in my memory.

With @djagonline

Love,

J

It’s by doing, by trying new things, that we often stumble upon new passions… or even our purpose.

Five years ago, just before the “official” lockdown, I started writing a few texts inspired by the state of the world—and the internal chaos it brought with it.

Little did I know… I was about to embark on a creative adventure that would radically shift my artistic path. That adventure was called “Oya.”

If you’re familiar with the Orishas, you already know Oya is no joke. If not—Google her or ask ChatGPT. You’ll be blown away. 🌪️

I feel so blessed that the sensational actress @c__vicki Christine During and an incredible team said yes to my vision.

I’ve always loved acting… but that day, I realised I might love something even more: bringing creatives together to make magic.

I was like a child again. That joy, that spark—I’ll never forget it.
Forever grateful for your presence:

✨ She’s finally here. Meet COSMIC GIRL 🌙💫 (Link in my bio)

I created Cosmic Girl: The Awakening as a little invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself and make space for creativity, reflection and inner peace.

It’s more than a colouring book. It’s a journey through 7 chapters of self-discovery, with 49 illustrations to colour and exercises along the way.

For all my Cosmic Girls navigating life, change, chaos, dreams, questions… this one is for you. 🪐✨

Put some music on. Grab your colours. Take a moment for yourself.

Welcome to The Awakening. 💫

Available now on Amazon.

The Game of Life:

Once in a while we always find ourself at a crossroad where life offers us two paths to pick. One looks peaceful, no trouble, easy. And the other one is full of hurdles, challenges and obstacles.

At the end there is no good or bad path, just the one needed in our current season of life.

I usually pick the challenging road because I’m enjoying pushing the limits of my beliefs. But the easy road seems cool too. Or perhaps it’s a fluke and hurdles are always waiting for us no matter where we are… 👀

Our path, our missteps, our lessons — all of it is ours to claim. That’s where we find ourself growing.

Love,

J.
