We are an audio & lighting rental business based in Melbourne. There’s a reason why we go to a lot of parties; because we make them sick.

POSTS STORIES REELS

We got the call-up from @m87.au to help bring the noise at the latest instalment of their warehouse party series. They cleverly requested our much-loved RES 2/F218 setup.

We paired those famously hefty F218 lows with the crisp, super-clear highs of the RES 2s, and dropped a couple of QSC K12.2s deep into the crowd to fill those harder-to-reach spots and make sure nobody missed out on all the good stuff @keayennaidoo was doing. The crowd was much bigger than we would usually recommend for this system, but there was magic in the air on this fateful night, and everything worked beautifully!

We also had two QSC KS118 18-inch subs and two K12.2s handling foldback duties. As always, a massive shoutout to @nextra.av who absolutely nailed the lighting rig, and a big thanks to M87 for getting us involved.

A massive thankyou to the Local DJs, amazing teams at each venue and our insane team + @jungleaudioau who killed the production aswell as @rapheek_ and @35thirtyfivemillion who did numbers on the marketing and flyers!

See you next time 😉 by @jungleaudioau

We recently did a 360-degree warehouse rave for two underground crews, @lush.gl0bal & @ycd_underground.

Their concept was simple: a caged Face 2 Face (F2F) battle. Pick your side, red or blue, and watch two DJs go head-to-head all night long.

The DJ booth sat inside a "cage" in the middle of the room, with the crowd wrapped around the action from every angle. We built a truss arch over the cage and loaded it up with lasers, strobes and pars to really sell the fight night atmosphere.

For audio, we deployed:
- 4x Funktion-One F218 MK2s (as a single mono sub stack)
- 4x Funktion-One Evo Xs
- QSC K12.2's for in-fill and DJ Foldback

Each side had its own setup with 2x CDJ-3000s and 1x DJM-A9, allowing the DJs to seamlessly battle back and forth all night.

We put together a little behind the scenes write up covering:
- The concept and event design
- How we approached the sound system
- Key considerations when running a 360-degree rave
- The issues we ran into on the night and how we solved them

We sent it for Luminous Festival (and had a fantastic time doing so).

The crew called us in and wanted the whole production handled: Funktion-One, lighting, DJ gear, foldbacks, and we very happily operated audio + lighting the whole. damn. weekend.

This was a 350-person boutique festival just outside Melbourne, running our 600-person Funktion-One package (excellent choice).

The lighting brief was nice and simple: light the stage structure, bring in some party lighting for the hype moments (strobes), and one giant laser overhead enclosing everyone underneath its roof.

I wrote a little behind-the-scenes blog on this one too if you’re into the production side of festivals & event logistics. Short 6 min read here:

Funktion-One’s out for M87’s warehouse series - this one tucked out the back of Preston Moondog, surrounded by stacks of craft beers.

We rolled in the iconic 4x Res 2 + 4x F218 MK2 rig, plus full backline + foldbacks. This setup’s been seriously flexing lately for 750-850+ people.

Always a breeze and a good time working with NextraAV. Lighting was locked in, start to finish.

Big one from M87 again 👏

M87 called us in, so we rolled out the big naughty Funkatrons for Vladimir Dubyshkin at The Third Day.

4x Res 2 speakers & 4x F218 MK2's putting in work! Filled the room very nicely. Also had Vladimir on Funktion-One foldbacks too, dialled in quite nicely.

We've been getting the speakers higher lately by putting them on 50cm of truss (on top of the subs) which has been making a MASSIVE difference for events of 500+ people.

Very boppy crowd and very boppy music.

Lighting was a vibe 🤤🤤 Thanks to @nextra.av for supplying and operating!

A lot of the love this year landed on the stage and production, which meant a lot to hear.

This year, a special few brought that space to life.

Huge thanks to @jungleaudioau From the Funktion One’s incredible sound, to the way the trees were lit as day turned into night, it shaped the feeling of the whole weekend.

And to @louistimlock for the build. A grand pillar structure that stood strong within the clearing, open and considered, complementing the natural surroundings while giving the dancefloor a place to gather.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped shape this space into what it was. by @jungleaudioau

BIG DANCE 2025.

A nice intimate doof in regional Vic with some super solid DJs.

Loved getting weird with a few new toys and watching it all come together.

By the way, did I ever tell you about the time we did @buxstock 2025? This one’s our baby, and we like to make it special.

We handle everything from design and build through to operations. It’s always a wholesome weekend where our tight-knit community gets to showcase their skills, in whatever way that looks for them.

I even wrote a short blog about it, which you can find on my website.

Buxstock 2026 isn’t far away now and we are in full steam ahead!!! by @jungleaudioau

Pleasure rolling in the Funk-Daddys for @dj_stingray_313 at @howlermelbourne.

Such a sick garden space out the front - fits the whole "Jungle" Audio aesthetic, ayyyyy. by @jungleaudioau

We sent it for the @nutechno.au crew - congrats on three years!

Our Funktion-One Res 2/F218's filled the space perfectly, with our Funktion-One 12" foldback speakers keeping the booth tight.

For the lighting, we turned the blank wall behind the decks into the centerpiece - eight PIX bars lighting it up, plus eight moving heads and four RGB strobes for some extra eye-candy.

Had Howler looking and sounding sick!
