I can’t think of a single fun or relevant thing to post so here’s a hazelnut tamari and some things it is teaching me:

If you don’t have anything nice to say it’s ok to keep quiet.
You don’t need to fake being excited or stoked about life when chaos reigns. Feeling stuff is an ok way to be. Good things take time. This jar of about 6 oz’s took me two years to make. Theres no life without risk and there’s no security in life, only a temporary feeling of peace, losing things is the price of having things.

If people want you or your stuff around they will seek you, eventually. Until they do, seek your gosh darn self. Make something, do something, even if it takes forever and you can’t’ have it twice.

Stay chiseled yall. by @juni.provisions

Been offline. Plotting and scheming and eating. Some stuff I’ve tried:
* a celery heavy sardine and fried egg salad
* attempt at making Tates cookies
* burnt cherry tomato pasta
* passion fruit tomato salmon crudo (w hella dill)
* tori paitan from my first ramen pop-up

Little pantry clean-out: Salmon tofu soup. Comforting, definitely a mood. One of these days I’ll learn to clean as I cook.

Can anybody recommend some good books on simple plating fundamentals? Would like to know a LIL something about what I’m doing besides just cooking and dumping ‘pon de plate.
