Today Evergreen in Your Mind is out, for everyone to listen to, and I feel so GOOD about it!

My biggest thanks of course goes to @stianskaaden, my musical brother and producer and musician, thank you for all your time, and for opening all your spaces and equipment to me… and thanks to @malin.c.longva for the loan, and of course for the beautiful photos…

Thanks to Jimmy Robertson, who mixed and made everything come together in a magical way

And Jeff Lipton for superb mastering

It is also thanks to @basinrock that this became a reality, because he liked the songs!! And believed they were good, even when I didn’t think so! In many ways a driving force in the project that I needed to keep it going - and with real passion and love for music…

And of course the same goes for @simenmitlid and @maritothilie and @koke.plate, thankyou to my labels for bringing the music to the right places and making all kinds of magic happen…

musicians who contributed were
@hermanwildhagen on pedal steel (Pearl Cloud Song)
@martinmorland on double bass (Lay My Trust)
@isaksisland extra guitar on (I’d Like to See It)
Emil Petersen ambience on (Another High)
I played guitar, vocals, organ and piano
@stianskaaden played bass, backing vocals, strings, synths, effects, percussion, ukulele, saw (what did i miss?)

Now off to bake a BIG cake 👀 by @junihabel

Folklore in Session is back with another special artist as we introduce Juni Habel 🖤

We welcomed her to TFR to perform her beautiful track, “Another High.”

Click the link in our bio to see the full video and make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss any of our future releases. We have so many more special artists to share with you 🫶

Juni Habel is a Norwegian singer-songwriter whose music blends delicate folk traditions with atmospheric, cinematic soundscapes. Her songs are deeply personal, balancing quiet vulnerability with striking emotional intensity, and are delivered with a voice that is both haunting and disarmingly honest.

Drawing inspiration from the natural world and the complexities of human connection, Juni creates music that feels timeless yet unmistakably modern. Her acclaimed releases have earned praise for their poetic lyricism, subtle arrangements and immersive storytelling, establishing her as one of Scandinavia’s most compelling contemporary folk artists.

This is Music, As it Should Be.

Glimpses from the Junie tour . Emil, mamma, @basinrock and me on the road ! So many lovely spaces! We met only nice people everywhere !!

From Slaithwaite to Todmorden to London to Brighton and up again to Sheffield and ending in Glasgow. We played in the woods, at a coffee brewery, pubs, a funeral space, BBC6, to mention a few. Took in magic from @jimghedimusic , @duncanmarquiss , @reaamusic and @emilykeeblemakingthings .

I loved every second of it and ready to come back, be serious and silly with my songs, all over again, in October 👀

BIG thanks to everyone for coming to the shows and welcoming the songs, and to the lovely crew everywhere ❤️ BIG thanks to @basinrock for making it happen ❤️
