One day, an idea came to me.
A special thing for someone special.
What if I could turn a song into something you could touch?
It all started with a sheet of paper.

Then came the sketches.
The experiments.
The mistakes.
And hundreds of folds.

Until I realized I wasn’t creating a fanzine.

I was trying to give a physical form to a song that has been part of my life for years.

A small piece of paper.

And this is the result.

After years of exploring Bali and discovering places that made us stop and say “wow”, we felt it was time to bring them together in one guide.

A personal collection of places that have inspired us, surprised us, and made us fall even more in love with this island.

But we didn’t want to create just another guide filled with the same places you can find everywhere.

We wanted to share the spots that genuinely made us feel something. Places with soul, authentic experiences, and locations we’d happily return to again and again.

That’s how Bali off the Road by Moon Rocks was born.

We hope it inspires you to discover a different side of the island and enjoy these places as much as we do.
