I didn’t reach this milestone because I was the best, nor because I was simply better. I got here because my cousin sister took my hand and walked me straight into the office of a good man, someone who saw raw talent and a genuine fire for media and communication in me.

If I ever tell you I earned this solely on merit or because I deserved it, I would be lying.

First, I bow in absolute gratitude to the Almighty God for His boundless mercies and unmerited favor.
Secondly, my heartfelt appreciation goes to my Boss and Big Brother as he prefers me to call him, Rt. Hon David Idris Zacharias for extending his hand of fellowship and trusting me with a position I cannot claim to deserve on my own.

Thirdly, to the demi-god among men, my cousin sister, Kedono-Ojo Christiana Akpa JP, you are truly a living representation of God’s grace on Earth to me. Thank you for being the bridge.

To my darling wife Shirley Cezar, thank you for pushing me to knock on doors I never even dreamt of approaching. Scripture never lied when it read: "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.

To my darling sisters, the beautiful ladies of Simon Innocent Ocheja: you are the very pillars holding me up. Get ready, because Una go learn new things🫩 and growing together in this new chapter!

And to my brother, Amana Idrisu, the silent engine behind the scenes. You are rarely seen, but your presence is felt in every step I take, till death do us part brother.

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce the latest MEDIA AIDE in town.

Glory be to God!

At 33 years Jesus was already done with his assignment here on Earth. At 33 mine just began because the hand of God has finally rested on me for speed and visibility.

From June to October 13th I have seen my life change in ways I cannot explain. You can only tell that this is the hand of God.

Welcome to your season of greatness Simon Akoji Ocheja, the world will know your name, and the world will see your exploit just like your late mother told you on her dying bed. Destiny can be delayed not denied.

Happy birthday to me🙏🙏🙏 taken in National Assembly, Abuja by @juniorcheja

Please let's be guided. Don't do things that will endanger your life. Even the Government expects you to have empathy and use logic where needed🫩🙄

If you like, don't stand up and fight for your life, poverty will exterminate you from the face of the Earth.
