“Mirrors of Reality” in @vogue.polska 🤍 Honestly, this is one of my masterpieces, and I will forever cherish the entire process… from grasping the first ideas, all the preparation and bringing my vision to life, through four intense days of shooting around Sumba Island, to this very moment when the fruits of our work can finally be seen by the world. 🥹 Every step of the journey made this project what it is, and seeing it all come together will always hold a special place in my heart. One of my wildest dreams came true - a publication of “Nereids” in @vogue.polska 🧜🏽‍♀️ It’s been a long journey, but here is it - Nereids, a tribute to the spirit of a woman honouring the grace and depth that allows her to navigate life’s most turbulent waters in a graceful way showing a true power through balance of flexibility and vulnerability - the ability to bend without breaking. Beyond grateful for my team and everyone involved in this beautiful project! 🙏🏼🫶🏼 Director, Producer & Photographer: Kinia Podsiadlo IG: @kiniapodsiadlophotography Models: Dalila Turash IG @dalilalela Shin Joo IG @sjlove1123 Jade Soph @jade.sophh Fashion Stylist: Junior Rahmat Ilahi IG @juniorilhmt HMUA: Olga Yurtaeva IG @rabbit_on_the_rainbow BTS Video: Lotta IG @lotta_and_the_waves Assistents: Naomi Andrianto IG @naomiiandr Adi Dharmadi IG @adidharmadi Mawar Bruzzi @@mawarbruzzi Pasthika Maya @o____pasthika Bill Clinton Parmonang @bill.clinton.s_ Jade Soph @jade.sophh Big thanks to all the designers & brands involved: @lisajuofficial @aidanandice @mahija.official @jackalopeland @studio.vian @___rumme @fuguku.id @kasha_bali @officialalicharisma @countrybali @seadivatails @caroline.devina_ #nereids #photoshoot #baliphotography #editorial #vogue #voguepolska #balimodel #art #artexhibitions by @juniorilhmt
*Nepenthes (Kantong Semar)* Not all flowers ask to be admired. Many species of Nepenthes face increasing threat and decline in the wild. Meanwhile they can show us the true meaning of us resilience: thriving in poor soils and enduring harsh conditions. This editorial is about an intimate and deeply personal space, one I approach with care, knowing it cannot be fully translated through my own perspective. Living within privilege (the freedom to choose a career, the absence of imposed domestic roles) can create blind spots in how stories are told and received. Over time, the narrative shifted from anger toward admiration. This is not an experience I claim as my own, yet it continues to shape and inspire the work. That sense of admiration then emerges in small, intentional details. I offer this piece as a personal reflection, an acknowledgment that womanhood carries many forms of strength, sometimes existing beyond the boundaries of my own lived experience. Amorphophallus titanum (Titan Arum) It blooms rarely, smells like decay, and defies everything we expect from a flower. Classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, the population of Titan Arum is shrinking under deforestation and exploitation. Yet they have a complex ecological role in soil systems.
