Building strong communities and lifelong connections. Empowering women to lead and serve in Palm Beach County.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are proud to welcome Emily Schachtel as President of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches (#JLPB) for the 2026-2027 League Year.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Connection,” Emily and the incoming leadership team are focused on strengthening the bonds within our League and throughout the communities we serve. As we begin this new League year, we look forward to the impact that is possible when serving, leadership, and connection come together.

Through JLPB’s signature initiatives, we continue to create meaningful change, including:
📚 Little Libraries, expanding access to books and literacy opportunities to over 19,000 underserved young children;
💗 Period Supplies, which has distributed more than one million essential products to help address period poverty; and
👁️‍🗨️ Eye & Ear Alert, providing free vision and hearing screenings to children for more than 50 years.

Here’s to a year of connection, civic leadership, and leading change that transforms communities.

Meet Stephania Linares, our Treasurer-Elect for the year. Across the many programs our League champions, it's our Period Supply Bank that speaks to her most, which is why she's sharing its impact on area women.

Did you know: 1 in 4 women in the U.S. struggle to afford period supplies.Through our partnership with the Alliance for Period Supplies, JLPB collects and distributes donated pads and liners to women and families across our community who need them most.

Here's how you can get involved:
🩸 Host a Period Supply Drive

Thank you, Stephania, for championing a cause that makes a real difference in our community.

Leadership skills? Check. ✅
A squad of driven, passionate women? Check. ✅
Real impact in Palm Beach County? Double. Check. ✅

We're talking about hands-on volunteer projects, a network of women who show up for each other (and for our community), and social events that make "getting involved" really fun.

Spring 2027 New Member Class applications open September 1.

Certified new-member hype woman. That's basically Jennifer Sariol's unofficial title as this year's Membership VP.

Her favorite part of the job? Watching women walk in bright-eyed and excited at their first meeting, and grow into full-blown Junior League superstars.

New Member Retreats, first committee meetings, those first "look what I just accomplished" moments, Jennifer is cheering our members through all of it.

If you've met her, you already know: she welcomes every new member like they've been part of the League for years.

Thank you for everything you do, Jennifer!
