POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After more than a year, I’m back with 2 new drawings for @tomgregory ✨️

This time, I went with ballpoint pen instead of pencil. I think for the next tour, though, I might finally switch to my main medium: digital art👀
I already have an idea for it, but that one will have to wait until the next tour🙈

Tom, it was honestly such a joy to be able to give these drawings to you again. This has become my little way of saying thank you for your music. For the way it has helped me through some difficult times in the past and continues to inspire me :)

And somehow, I even got to give them to you on my birthday, which made the whole thing even more special. I really couldn’t have imagined a better way to spend the day than at your concert💕

Thank you again, Tom :3

.

And this time, you guys hopefully won’t have to wait quite as long for the next fanarts. Like I said, I’m already planning the next project and wanna do some test drawings beforehand, because I really wanna push my current skills with this one👀

Hi again! I can now say that the sketches you see in this post have found their new owner, and it already made me really happy at Essen Original to see that you like them, @tomgregory ! :)

It’s a total of 20 pages, including a few double pages, and 36 days of work…and only 5 hours of sleep in the last 58 hours just to get as many sketches done as possible. Don’t ask me how that was possible, as I don’t even know myself!😂

There’s a common theme running through this sketchbook, from concert moments to music video sketches and personal interpretations of songs🙈

In order:

1: Live performance of „Dive“

2+3: Music video of „Wreck“

4: Interpretation of „Please“

5: Music video of „What Love Is“

6–8: Interpretations of „Sink or Swim“, „Lonely Heart“, and „Let It Be History“

9: „Far Away“ (hard to recognize😅)

10: Music video of „Losing Sleep“

11: DORTBUNT 2024 performance

12–15: Double pages

16–20: Unfinished sketches

What's better than a post of Steven Stone fanart? Right, 2 posts of Steven Stone fanart! O.o
And today I have a drawing for you, in which is his shiny Mega Metagross as well👀

It was fun to draw them together even though Metagross was sometimes a challenge because of its material, but I'm happy with the result! :3

„There’s more between these two than just a mask.
One wants to know what’s behind it. The other has every reason to keep it from falling.“

Hi :)
I never really know what to write here xD

Anyway, I thought it’d be fun to make a little reference for these two and, more importantly, give Vey’s design a bit of a redesign. This is going to be one of two references, since these are the stage outfits of them.

A little lore:
Vey is, just like Felix, one of the biggest names in the German music scene right now, though that’s pretty much where the similarities end. Unlike the blonde sunny boy, Vey keeps almost everything about himself hidden. His identity is a mystery, and off stage he’s not exactly the talkative type either.

Felix, on the other hand, could probably talk for hours without taking a breath. And of course, he’s become determined to figure out who’s actually hiding behind that mask. Somewhere along the way, he started enjoying testing Vey’s limits, much to Vey’s annoyance, who would very much prefer to keep him at arm’s length.

Vey is also almost exclusively seen at festivals. Once his set is over, he tends to disappear just as quickly and quietly as he arrived, making sure nobody gets the chance to get too close.

„It’s almost impressive how far his charm gets him, considering how annoying he actually is...“ - M

Today, I’d like to introduce you to one of my “new” characters. Felix has been living in my head and in the things I’ve written down for quite some time now, but I think it’s finally time to bring him to life.

You’ll soon get to learn more about him, as well as the other character who will play the bigger role in the overall story. But for now, I don’t wanna spoil anything beyond what’s already obvious :)

My last Art Fight drawing for this year is for @lunar.beatz_ and is my defense against their amazing attack :3

I was honestly pretty lucky that I managed to finish this drawing. On Friday we finished work quite early because of inventory, although I spontaneously decided to stay a bit longer to help prepare our current golf production. Afterwards, I spent a few hours sitting in an air-conditioned room, taking my time drawing instead of driving home. If I had gone home, I definitely would’ve just slept because of the heat xD

So…….if we’re talking about this year’s Art Fight in general.…well...it definitely could’ve gone better.
Ireally wanted to finish more than 4 drawings, especially because my stats are pretty terrible😅
But in the end, quality is more important to me than quantity, and I’m really glad I took so much more time with these 4 drawings compared to last year.
I only drew busts, but it was important to me that they weren’t just flat colors this time. I wanted them to actually look nice👀

And I wanted to be happier with my work than I was last year, and I think, when it comes to the drawings themselves, I can definitely say I am :)

Next year though, I’m going to stop doing attacks. I don’t wanna attack any new people anymore. Instead, I wanna focus entirely on revenges as a way of thanking everyone for all the awesome drawings. It’ll probably take forever before everyone gets a drawing from me if I only manage 4 per Art Fight, but hey.…that’s still better than nothing, haha :3
