Helloo to all my new followers!! I wanted to take the chance to introduce myself since I’ve gained a lot of new peeps in the past month or so!

Thank you for following me and being apart of my artistic space 😌

My name is Bethany and I’m a Latina mixed artist based out of Bryan-College Station, Tx. My goal as an artist is to convey the vibrancy within each of us and explore themes of freedom, emotion, self strength/love, and authenticity through abstract action and add some positivity and color to your feed!
.
Thank you for being apart of my journey and I’m so excited to have you here 🤍

These buddies are now live on my website! You can also find an updated inventory of Plant buddies- exclusive to my Square website ONLY. 🔗 link in bio or on my story

One of my first booth setups 🫣

I’ve come a long way…
This month was the 5 year anniversary of JDB and during that time there’s been a lot of ups and downs. Lately I’ve had little to no motivation to create and have questioned whether or not I would continue with this endeavor. It’s been incredibly hard to keep going and most times I’ve felt very discouraged about my art and the progress I’ve made throughout the years. But I’ve also learned to give myself some grace and remind myself art is subjective and I shouldn’t compare myself to other creatives.

This year has been one of the hardest but I’m excited to see what the future holds and the growth that will come because of it.

More than anything, I’m incredibly appreciative of the love, support, and community that I’ve gained throughout this time and I don’t know what I’d do without it. Thank you for all the things; likes, shares, purchases, and kind words.

Here’s to another year 🥂 by @junkdrawerbybeth
