Another pile of junk…

The structure of this sculpture is based off of a lion’s skull. When attaching all the objects and materials to the structure to create the final aesthetic, I let imagination take over and bring the piece into the realm of fantasy. by @junko.playtime

Scarlet 💜
2025

Sculpture made from recycled materials commissioned by the @raptors and @gflenvironmental.

Her name is Scarlet (aka the Recyclosaur). Her style is bold and flashy, paying homage to the loud and colourful fashion of the 90’s that gave birth to the @raptors identity.

Huge thanks to the @raptors and @gflenvironmental for making this project possible, and to the @romtoronto for showcasing my work. This project has been extremely meaningful to me and has really felt full circle, connecting me with people and places from my youth. To read more about this project and my work as a whole, check out the interview by Sheeza Sarfraz on the ROM website (link in bio) or check out Recyclosaur.ca for the tour schedule of where you can see the sculpture in person.
