For the 50th contribution to the podcast series, it’s a true honour to welcome Ōtautahi producer, musician and electronic artist Junus Orca into the RPN universe.

Stepping away from the conventional mix format, Junus Orca gifts us an intimate one-hour hybrid live ambient performance. A showcase of original material and an ever-evolving sonic world.

New music. A song called “Setting Me Up for Release” which used to go by a different name. As I was setting this song up for release it made me think that this song should be called “Setting Me Up for Release” instead. Before I set it up for release it was called “Setting Me Up for Release” which I now release is a very similar name to the name I chose as I was setting it up for release. It’s released now.

“Flowers for Dead Friends” is the name of a song I wrote recently. The artwork is a photo I took on my phone in Trastevere, Rome last August. I like both, so here they are together and online now for you listen and look at.

Recorded in Ōtautahi last year, we are both super proud of this set, and grateful to have shared the stage with so many amazing electronic producers from across Aotearoa
