When life gives you lemons 🧲 by @junyr

Sometimes the hardest part of healing is confronting the parts of yourself you buried just to survive 🌿

This song came from a period of reflection, letting go, and learning to recognize the patterns I no longer wanted to carry ☀️

I took those feelings, the lessons, and the uncomfortable truths and turned them into music ⚡️

A little shadow work, a little self discovery, and a whole lot of turning pain into art 💚

Inspired by Van Gogh ☀️🎨

For the ones who feel deeply, see beyond the surface, and carry emotions they can’t always explain 💚

The things I was recording during the pandemic 😂

I really sat down and made a whole song inspired by Rona…but then again everything becomes inspiration to The Modern Muse 💚

I WENT TO LA CASA FRESHMEN 🏡🧲💚

I know many of you have been following the magnetic current since the beginning, while others are still catching up on how it all came together

So, what exactly is La Casa Freshmen? How did I get there? And what happens when you bring a room full of artists together under one roof for a few days?

Here’s a little backstory on the experience, the people, and the opportunities that came with following the current 💚

Sometimes, what’s meant for you finds you when you least expect it!

A little end-of-camp conversation with @st_savant 🪶, one of the curators behind La Casa Freshman 2026 🏡

We talked about the experience, the intention behind creating spaces for artists, and what it means to bring creatives together ✨

One thing this experience reminded me of is that it takes people who believe in artists to create spaces where we can connect, grow, and show up as ourselves. And being reminded that we were chosen to be there, just as we chose to be part of it, makes the experience that much more meaningful 💚

Grateful to have been part of this chapter. Much love to Saint Savant and everyone who helped make La Casa Freshman what it was!

This is what community looks like 🌿🧲

3 days before everything changed… 🌿👑

A little update before heading to Massachusetts for the La Casa Freshman Artist Retreat. At the time, I had no idea what the next few days would have in store. Just showing up, ready to connect, create, and see what happens 🧲 by @junyr
