Last First Day of Class🥹🩵
Fall 2022- Fall 2026

It’s crazy to look back at my college journey and see how much the Lord has moved in my life. My first two years of college were spent not really knowing who He was, but these last two years have been spent getting to know Him and learning what it looks like to truly walk with Him. Even when I thought taking a semester off, moving back home, and having to repeat my junior year was a setback, the Lord turned it into such a huge blessing. He has used every part of this journey to bring me closer to Him, and I’m thankful to be walking into my senior year knowing that His plan has always been better than mine. by @jurnimontague

☀️CAMP☀️

If I would have known my first time EVER going to camp would be at 22, I probably would have just laughed. When I accepted to be the student ministry intern at FBCLEX I felt unqualified especially as someone who had just gotten saved two years ago. The Lord has shown me that not only does He equips the called but He calls you by name. Students, parents, and friends if you are wondering if camp is worth it the answer is YES!

Camp this year was about dwelling with God and what it truly means and looks like to dwell. To dwell means to abide/ to sit/ to keep the attention directed to. I leave with one question for you to ask yourself, what are you dwelling in? Is it the presence of the Most High or something of this world?

Here’s what God has taught me since I’ve been following Him for a little over a year now:

💐When storms come, Jesus is in the boat with me( yes storms are scary but trusting Him to pull us out when it is time is important)

💐Changing my perspective on every outlook on life- (turning “troubles” into “testing”)

💐Plan out your time with God as you would plan out time for your sports, friends, appointments etc)

💐Being intentional ( God already knows our intentions before we do)

💐The more I’ve grown in my relationship with God, the more I notice that I experience more storms. ( some are milder than others)

💐Invite God into your grief- this was a big one for me because while I do miss everyone that has gone from this side of heaven but by me inviting God into that pain made it so much more bearable. He has shown me that instead of focusing on the time I’ll never have with them again to remember the time I did have with them.( they didn’t have to be apart of my life but God put them there for a reason)

💐We all have a common purpose which is to Know Jesus and Make Him Known! ( When was the last time you told someone about Jesus?)

💐Having a relationship with Kingdom-minded and faith-driven people makes a difference in your walk with God! by @jurnimontague
