POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This post barely captures how inspiring J Dilla has been to me over the years. I still hold onto flyers, posters, photos, and ticket stubs from all the nights dedicated to him, the artist who pioneered much of the sound I still love today.

Through his music, he created a connection between many of the artists that I appreciate, sharing a common passion, whether they worked with him directly or indirectly.

His mastery of sampling sharpened my attention to detail in my own work. Even though I’m not a musician, he taught me how to really listen, and how sound, like any craft, can be created with care, intention, and soul.

More than anything, he built a community, one that continues to gather every year in his honour. Through that bond, I’ve met some truly incredible people, and for that, I’m forever thankful and forever inspired.

Thank you, Jay Dee. 🤍

Hello.

Is the algorithm still broken here? If so, this post is ironic lol. I wanted to exercise my creative muscles, so I created a Where’s Wally-inspired piece with a search activity included (let me know where you found me).

This post is also in response to people who haven’t seen me post but see me on other people’s social media posts 😂

It wasn’t easy creating the wobbly line style from scratch. Can someone put this in front of Martin Handford? 😆

Creating this was so much fun!

Growing up with these hide-and-seek books was great! Not only looking for Wally, but seeing what other insane details you came across too.

Fun Fact:
The character of Wally goes by different names in different parts of the world. These include Waldo, Wally, Walter, Willy, Hugo, Charlie and Holger. So yeah.

I had fun Illustrating this 😌☁️

A thanks goes out to the team at the Anti Racist Cumbria charity.

My T-Shirt design is only available for a limited time via their crowdfunder - with all proceeds going directly towards ‘The Fell We Climb’ animation which inspired the design, as well as allowing more children to benefit from the project in and out of schools nationwide.

Pretty proud of my plants, half of what I have I’ve propagated which makes looking after them even more special - What’s your favourite plant? 😌🌱✨

Fun Fact About Me:

When I was 18 I attempted the Guinness World Record for biggest bubblegum bubble, the current record is 20” (50.8CM) - I was 5” short…

I honestly think it’s time I practiced again 😬🎈

Guess Who’s Back…

Wooh! It has been a long time since I’ve been on here!
The break was needed and it allowed me to get back into a new creative flow.

Burnout is real! I HAD to listen to my body saying to rest and recharge so this is a friendly reminder for you too ✨🌱
