One year ago today at 4:14pm PST I kissed my Mytael goodbye for the last time. My Mother, the Queen of my Heart, was there with me the entire time and today we spread his ashes in his favorite place in the world. I couldn’t have done this past year without you, Momma.

So, I found this frame at a thrift store a couple of months ago. Got some rose gold spray paint, sanded it down, cleaned it up.. and today I felt like Oscar Wilde belonged in this.. so, I sketched him inspired by a stock image from Alamy.

Oscar Wilde has always been a very influential writer for me but over this past year even more so. What do you guys think? 🤍
