For everything in Thailand, “Just Call Bob” 🇹🇭🇮🇳
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Enjoying a meal with Oscar winner Garu Chandrabose: the acclaimed Telugu lyricist who wrote the globally renowned song "Naatu Naatu" for the 2022 film RRR, composed by M.M. Keeravani.

The song won the 2023 Oscar for Best Original Song and the 2023 Golden Globe.

It took Chandrabose over 19 months to perfect the lyrics for this energetic dance anthem.

Hats off to this legends creativity and humility.

We have much to learn from you sir. 🌿 by @just.callbob

The truck says “FOLLOW ME.”

The walkie-talkie is in hand. You can guess who’s running the show.

After 22+ years in Thailand’s film industry, some things don’t change.

Good locations, the right people, and making sure the shoot keeps moving.

That’s the job. Every single time. by @just.callbob

I used to think being busy meant I was doing well.

Running business in Thailand taught me otherwise.

There is always another hotel to negotiate, another location to check, another last-minute change to solve. If you say yes to everything, Bangkok can keep you busy 24/7.

For years, I treated that as productivity.
Now I know better.
The real skill is knowing which problem actually deserves your attention.

Thailand also taught me that relationships often matter more than speed. A problem that looks impossible at 6 PM can sometimes be solved with one phone call, if you have spent years building the right relationships.

Being busy is not the same as being valuable.

The older I get, the more I value knowing what not to do. by @just.callbob

#THROWBACKMEMORIES

Posting this a little late, but some moments are too good to leave sitting in the camera roll!!

A throwback to celebrating Puri Jagannadh sir’s birthday.

Puri sir has been much more than a filmmaker we’ve worked with. He has been a friend, a constant, and someone who has been a big part of the IndoBangkok Films journey over the years!

We’ve shared films, conversations, challenges and a lot of good memories along the way.

Happy birthday once again, Puri sir. Always good to have you around! by @just.callbob

We just wrapped another round of TSN Talks Podcast recordings, and there’s so much from these conversations I can’t wait to share! 🎙️

You usually hear about someone once they’ve built something worth talking about. I love getting to ask about all the years before that. That’s where the juice is.

Here’s a sneak peek of who’s coming up next 👇

1️⃣ Janya P. — Founder, LivLit (@livlitwithjaan)
We interviewed a 17-year old, high school student - Janya, who is running AI-workshops in international schools across India and Thailand, encouraging students to think about what makes them irreplaceable in an AI-driven world. 🤯 At 17!
We talk about curiosity, creativity, and why she believes this is important.

2️⃣ Ankit Upadhyay (@ankittupadhyay) — Founder & CEO, A2D Ventures (@a2dventures)

From waiting tables in California to McKinsey, Shopee, and now backing startups across Southeast Asia, this conversation with Ankit on TSN Talks was a long-time coming.

In Particular, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to ask him: when the pitch deck looks immaculate and the numbers look outstanding, ~HOW~ do you decide if the person is worth backing? His answer is one I’d want every founder to hear 💯

We talk about what makes founders stand out, why startups struggle in their first year, and why he wants to make startup investing accessible to more people 🚀

3️⃣ Dilbir “Bob” Sahni — Founder, Indo Films Thailand (@indobangkokfilms)

A wonderful conversation with someone who’s spent ~25 years connecting India and Thailand through films, with over 400 Movie productions across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Gujarati cinema.🎬🇮🇳🇹🇭

We talk about his INSANE hustle and drive behind the scenes, the relationships that have shaped his journey, and his passion for giving back through Helping Hands.

4️⃣ Amit Sachdev(@intlpunjabi) — Founder, Stroll (Exited)

Had a fascinating chat with Amit about his journey building Guam’s first ride-hailing app 🚘 , navigating a market where the rules were still being written, and eventually selling the business.

We talk about the challenges along the way, knowing when exit, how being an entrepreneur shapes you, and why he’s starting a new chapter in Bangkok.

There’s one thing I’ve noticed among most celebs
(it’s something no one would have guessed)

Almost everyone is spiritual.
Almost everyone I met is humble.

Yes, there are always exceptions but this is a recurring pattern. They understand that success, fame, money, wealth, fandom is all temporary.

They value deeper things because they’ve seen the peak. They live what we dream of.

Most importantly, they understand that success is always rented, never owned.

How has your interaction been with celebs? by @just.callbob

Things I got right as a line producer. 25 years in.

We’re Thailand’s biggest production house for Indian cinema. I talk about my mistakes a lot.

Here’s what I got right:

1. I personally pick up every guest who lands in Bangkok. Every time.

2. Every crew member is on contract. They have freedom. Non-negotiable.

3. We move faster on permits and permissions than anyone else in this country.

4. We’ve worked every budget — and we’ll always tell you which one actually makes sense.

5. Every client feels at home here. Not like a vendor. Like family.

6. We scout, prep, and troubleshoot before problems reach the director.

7. Lean crews. Clean invoices. No surprises.

8. Schedule builds around the creative vision, not the other way around.

9. We know every location, every fixer, every shortcut Thailand has to offer.

10. We communicate on set, off set, and at 2am when the call sheet changes.

11. We’ve walked away from productions that weren’t the right fit. Money included.

12. We’ve let go of clients who didn’t respect the craft or the crew.

13. Monsoon, heatwave, last-minute script change — we’ve handled it all.

14. No fancy office. No bloated overheads. Every rupee goes on screen.

15. We’ve trained local Thai crew to work seamlessly on Indian productions.

Years of work nobody sees.
And the most important one.

We’ve always respected Thailand; its people, its process, its culture.
25 years isn’t luck. It’s this list, lived on every single production. by @just.callbob
