Heavy, melodic, raw, and absolutely gorgeous!
𝗥𝗲𝗱 is the earlier and heavier Baroness, with almost a haunting sound.
And then there's the artwork - John Baizley's intricate, art noveaou illustrations are an essential part of the band's identity.
The cover feels like a world of its own, perfectly reflecting the music inside: dark, organic, detailed, and beautiful.
Listening to Baroness while staring at the cover is an experience where visual and sonic art merge to become one.

Between the Buried and Me continue to blur the lines between metal, jazz, prog, and everything in between(ba dum tss) , constantly challenging the listener while rewarding every repeat listen.
The Blue Nowhere is another reminder of why they've remained one of the most adventurous bands in modern progressive music.
Heavy, technical, unpredictable- enjoyable as always.
