Don’t miss the Miami premiere of SOMETHING CASUAL this Friday, May 8 at the Bill Cosford Cinema in Coral Gables 🎬✨

Raw, emotional, funny, and painfully relatable at times, Something Casual dives into the messy reality of modern dating, intimacy, obsession, and what happens when “no strings attached” becomes something much more complicated.

Following the screening, there will be a live Q&A with director Brandon Buczek.

If you love independent films, relationship dramas, and discovering new voices in cinema, come experience this one on the big screen 🎞️🖤

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our World Premiere at @danceswithfilms @chinesetheatres it was truly amazing watching Something Casual with you all 🤍 thank you to the entire Dances with Films team for having us and hosting a wonderful festival. Thank you to @chicagonucla for the insightful Q&A and for leading the features programming.

Thank you to each and every person who put their heart and soul into this film. Dating is a beautiful, horrifying, enchanting, nauseating shared experience and we’re happy we could make some art about it and unpack it together. taken in TCL Chinese Theatres by @just.interpretations

We were so fortunate to work with the incredible @ja_collective on the choreography for our movie. Throughout the movie we incorporated elements of both Frankie and Alex’s art forms: dance and painting. Here’s a clip from the first rehearsal compared to the Final Cut. We loved how this scene turned out. If you want to see more make sure to check out our premiere Tuesday night at 7:15pm @danceswithfilms @chinesetheatres
