Lightnin’ Hopkins represents the blues in its most human form. His music was never about perfection or technique for its own sake. It was about feel, timing, and truth. Hopkins often improvised lyrics on the spot, responding to the room, the moment, and the audience. A highlight was NIN last month. Better than I thought. And I thought it would be amazing. The opener almost took me out - bass heavy industrial house, straight back back to the 90s underground rave scene. Not that i was ever there, downtown Philly, Spring Street. 👵 🎶

It’s wild having kids in a world on fire. Always looking for all the good happening at the same time. There is so much good.

Getting through challenges as best we can - learning & creating as many adventures and memories as humanly possible along the ride. And my power just went out. Cest la vie ❤️‍🔥 ty by @just.jessicalee

Throughout every single day, I break for coffee. Almost every time I picture in my mind that I’m vacationing in Paris at a cafe, or am sitting in the English countryside by horses, or on my balcony at the Le Sirenuse in Positano. Or anywhere Oceanside. Because. Why not. I have lived on the water a few times and will likely head back at some point. I’m right where I should be right now. But. Living on vacation is the way. by @just.jessicalee
