POSTS STORIES REELS

Got inspired by @whatstaylor.reading’s ‘mon dump/what this week’ post yesterday!

I’ve had such a lovely past few weeks with friends and fam ♥; and have gotten 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗦 of reading done.

𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯!? I was ecstatic y’all! (𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 😵‍💫)

𓍯ོ currently reading:
𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 by 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘏𝘰𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 - there’s been a few chapters that have left me disturbed to say the least.. but I guess this is why this book is so popular. Curious to see how some of these scenes will be adapted for the upcoming film. Still not sure how I feel about it overall 🤔. Currently about 50% through.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 by 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘢 𝘉𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘔𝘋 -
this one’s for anyone interested in mental health or who feels like life’s stressors can completely throw you off balance and leave you as a ball of anxiety. I’m enjoying it so far, but it’s feeling a little bland. I’m only about 12% in, so I’m hoping it picks up 🤞🏽 otherwise, I’m not sure I’ll finish it.

𓍯ོ currently watching:
📺 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫 (𝙰𝚙𝚙𝚕𝚎 𝚃𝚅) - what the heck.. this show is absolutely wild, but I can’t stop watching it. Having to wait each week drives me bonkers.

⚔️ 𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇 (𝙷𝚞𝚕𝚞) - my bf loves this anime, and so many of my close friends have always raved about it. It’ll be nice to understand what they’re referencing going forward 🥹. I finally started it and am really enjoying it!

👽 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 (𝙲𝚛𝚞𝚗𝚌𝚑𝚢𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕) - I was obsessed with this anime when it first aired and watched it religiously, but I had to pause because waiting every week for new episodes was torture. I’m finally catching up, and I’m completely fascinated. Extraterrestrial spookiness + a post-apocalyptic world? Sign me up!

As promised, a long overdue review 📚
No spoilers ahead :)

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My thoughts:
This was one of those books that quietly sneaks up on you. What starts with a simple mix-up of two women’s lives unfolds into a story about betrayal, friendship, resilience, and finding yourself again after life doesn’t go as planned.

I have to admit, I couldn’t stand Nisha (𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙵𝙼𝙲) at first. But that’s one of the things I loved most about this book, every character felt layered, flawed, and human. By the end, I found myself rooting for people I never expected to.

I came across this book while in Puerto Rico, and the synopsis immediately piqued my curiosity.

A heartwarming reminder that sometimes the most unexpected detours lead us exactly where we’re meant to be.

📸 which one is your favorite?

I’m overdue for a book review and more posts but I am lacking the motivation. Trying to slowly get back into it 🤞🏽

I finally finished a book in less than a month y’all 👏🏽 progress for someone who’s been in a major reading slump all year.

💬 What’s the last book that finally got you out of a slump? Or are we all still pretending to read right now? 😅

Meant to post these last month but things don’t always go as we plan 💗

📖 🛋️ 2 books I started last month and still need to finish + others that are part of my TBR.

I’m in a huge reading slump at the moment… and don’t want to read anything. How do you guys overcome reading slumps? And would any of you like to guess which two books I still need to finish from last month? 🤭 by @just.nivs
