Yesterday, community members decided to step out! Hallelujah 😂 and it was such a vibe!

We dug deep into what makes us us, our values, our growth, our struggles, and the God-factor (because let’s be real, doing your 20s without God? Impossible!). 🙌🏾

Dear 20 Something,

One thing that is common in this phase of our lives is the fear of the unknown. We dream everyday of what could be, set goals and try to achieve our dreams. Although the reality is that we don’t know what will eventually be, we can only trust that while we put in the work, God is going to reward our desires.

So do your best today, because there’s indeed no turning back.

One thing about our community? We don’t just glow, we grow, spiritually, emotionally, and yes… financially too (because vibes alone won’t pay rent).

After asking what y’all wanted to talk about more, the resounding answer was: money. Yep, cash, coins, funds, cheddar, that direct deposit joy.

At our hangout, the question about the one thing about adulthood no one prepared you for came up, and somehow it was obvious the phrase “your future is in your hands” no longer sounds like motivation but more like pressure.😂

For Alisa , it was more about the fact that we now have to make decisions and deal with the consequences (good or bad) all by ourselves. No manual. No lifeline. Just God.

One statement that has followed me for years is, “Boma, you don’t sound your age.” People always tell me I sound more mature than I am. While that can be flattering, it also speaks to something deeper, the experiences that have shaped me.

Adulthood is wild, but we don’t have to go through it alone. For some of us with big dreams, it can feel even wilder. I believe our twenties are some of the most critical years that shape who we eventually become.

Right now, there’s a lot of pressure to figure out who that person is. And while some of that pressure can be helpful, it can also make us miss out on all the beauty and growth these years have to offer.

That’s why I’m creating a space, a community, a haven for the young adult who wants to thrive. A community to lean on & learn with.

Guess what? We had our first hangout over the weekend, and it was the perfect mix of fun and meaningful conversations. This is a space to learn, relax, and grow.
