Master of evil was a pretty fun book... Mainly cause we got some new 501st stuff!

So yeah, Appo's great return. Him and Bow lead a squad of clones through an old techno union ship with a sith temple slapped right in the middle of it, pretty unique kinda vibe. Anyway I'm just happy to be seeing more imperial clone stuff, makes for some really interesting stories.

For the actual designs it's mostly just ROTS 501st, added a couple bits and pieces to both of them inspired by Appo, Bow and Gill's gear in the various dark times comics as well as the clone wars arrow cause I just think it's nice and unique 🤞

Meanwhile down on Mandalore...

So yeah, there's the aftermath of the republic's fall and empire's rise in Sundari. I'm sure everyone involved will be very reasonable and measured about everything.

Had a lot of fun drawing the various background death watch Mandos. Absolutely loved that white helmeted guy for years now. The torch trooper on the left has like all of 4 reference images in the entire internet so that was a journey. And of course the Nite Owl was great to interpret, think I got a good balance of clone wars and live action style with her.

Also set the whole thing in that one tunnel from the Lawless cause what's one more dramatic scene in there?

Anyway, really happy to have this done, had this idea maybe a year ago?

The republic commando books are good, you should read em 🤞

So yeah here's Kal and the fight for clone rights that he's gonna be stuck in for the rest of his life. I think it all makes sense? It's all very symbolic but I'd say it's fairly coherent.

There some Mando'a text in the background that kinda shows why he's doing all this if anyone can read that (tbh I wouldn't really even be able myself 😭)

Also gave Kal a redesign cause I think he deserves better than being a Jango repaint 🙏

Love a nice clean clone to customize a little bit. Threw some Saabac symbols onto his dome, suppose he's a bit of a gambler.
Really like Liam's Halo stuff, he's made some loooovely armours.

Day 12 of #clonetober2026 , Faust by @high_ground_animations

Really cool guy, looking forward to seeing what he does. Used this as another opportunity to try my live action Rex pauldron, not really sure it's what I'd actually interpret it as, but I do kinda like it.

If all goes well I should have another post later today 🤞

Love the little subtle hits of gold on this guy. Double shoulder antennas is a bold choice but I think he pulls it off.

Really cool helmet. One of those things that you don't think would work till you try it. This guy's kinda like a modern Fordo to my eye, got that BARC element, the two pouches on the chest and the grey that most canon ARCs have these days.

This guy's cool, absolutely kitted out. Kinda wondering if that's a grand inquisitor decal on his helmet? Also very nice visor, quite Tricky.

Saw there was a recon style helmet so I took that and developed it a bit. Quite like it, think it looks quite phase 3ish.

Really enjoyed the more classic ARC pauldron here. Also did about half of this on a plane so that was different.
