Yesterday morning was such a joy. Playing late in the morning has always suited me the most.

Here are three tracks that sounded amazing on one of the best systems I’ve played on, with probably the best booth I’ve ever played in.

We are very pleased to present you our new Neptune Artist from Sheffield: JUST BENEDICT

Just Benedict is a UK-based DJ, producer and promoter rooted in the deep, soulful lineage of Chicago house. Inspired by the Prescription Records legacy, he has built a reputation for groove-led sets and emotive productions that balance dancefloor energy with musical depth.
His releases span respected labels including Surface, Freerange, Hudd Traxx and Kolour, reflecting a consistent commitment to quality underground house. Since debuting at 19, he has continued to evolve, with recent self-released music showcasing his signature blend of warm basslines, classic swing and modern Berlin influence. It’s almost too good to be true, but thanks to our wonderful friends and neighbours, along with various cameras, ring cams and messages, we could narrow down exactly when the bag was taken and after a horrible few days thinking I’d have to painfully replace every single record, and the bag, I’m so relieved to get it back.

Thank you all for sharing and being decent people. Love actually does save the day. by @just_benedict__

The recording of my return to Golden Gate between 3am and 6am on technically 6 February 2026. Head to my SoundCloud to listen.

Due to various freak weather conditions it took me nearly 24 hours to travel from Sheffield to Berlin, arriving with only an hour to spare.

I hope you enjoy listing to the recording as much as I did playing at one of my favourite spots.

Just coming back to reality after another weekend that reminds me what all the blood, sweat and tears are for. Thank you @goldengate.berlin and @edgar_peng for looking after me on Friday morning.

It took me nearly 24 hours to travel from Manchester to Berlin, but I made it just in time to play, and still feel proud of how I played.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet some new ones. I’m tired but my heart is full. by @just_benedict__

I have the honour of having inspiring and iconic women in my life, but I lost one of them, my grandmother last year and today would have been her 88th birthday.

She built me up, taught me to build up others and is an influence on me that I can never really truly quantify. by @just_benedict__

Modern, nostalgic sounding, and ready for all decent night clubs. by @just_benedict__

🔥 Welcome back to Deep House Barcelona. For this week’s episode, we are thrilled to introduce the talented artist @jusbenedict from Sheffield.
Benedict is a DJ, producer and promoter from the north of the UK, inspired by the sound and momentum of driving Chicago House. He began his journey in his early teens, later releasing music on labels such as @freerangerecords , @tonecontrolmusic , @huddtraxx and Detroit’s @kolourltd

After spending nearly a decade on the dancefloor rather than in the booth, Benedict is now a regular guest at renowned Berlin institutions such as @sisyphosberlin and @goldengate.berlin . He is the co-founder of Sheffield party @machinesoul__ and has self-released two sold-out records in the last twelve months, with a third on the way.

For his session at @deephousebarcelona , Benedict dives into a journey of groove crafted with flawless technique and superb track curation. Expect a modern take on nostalgic house: lush vocals, seductive basslines, deep soul, and that unmistakable driving momentum. His mixes glide with precision: smooth, confident, and deeply intentional, building energy in waves that draw you closer to the heart of the club.
With a sound shaped by Berlin floors like Sisyphos and Golden Gate, and the spirit of his own Machine Soul, Benedict knows exactly how to ignite a room. His selection is rich, emotive and irresistibly danceable, designed to make you move as if you were right there with him behind the decks, feeling every shift in rhythm and every spark of tension.

We are excited to welcome such a gifted producer and DJ to Deep House Barcelona. Prepare for an amazing session full of groove, soul and house nostalgia: modern, immersive, and pure dancefloor pleasure. ❤️ LINK IN BIO 🔗 by @just_benedict__
