A study in flourishing and cartouches.

Created from ideas and inspiration gathered through the courses I’ve been taking, and made especially for a friend.

Sharing some close-ups to reveal the tiny details.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” ✨
Ecclesiastes 3:11

I’ve been exploring the beauty of the Florentine style after learning from the wonderful @heathervictoriaheld. Inspired by those lessons, I created this piece as part of my continuing calligraphy and illumination journey.

Enjoying the process of bringing flourishing, botanical motifs, and lettering together .🩷

Watercolor from @thecreativekinds , @winsorandnewton and @danielsmithartistsmaterials

Tiny blooms for a tiny blessing.

Soft watercolor roses, delicate greenery, and graceful copperplate flourishes came together for this lil surprise.

Sometimes the wrapping becomes part of the gift. ✨💖

Wonderful Summer Study Session with @heathervictoriaheld, hosted by the @atlcalligraphyguild 🙏🩷

Pen etching, offhand flourishing, and lettering fun. Starting with the letter A and moving on to B while exploring florals, birds, and graceful flourishes in a soft blue, Daniel Ames-inspired style.

Always grateful for opportunities to learn, practice, and grow💕🌸
