FREEZE FRAMES – THE ILLUSION OF EXISTENCE
(Art Diploma 2023)

Inspired by the idea of ephemeral art, I wanted to create a series of photos that would slowly dissolve over time.
Just like in life—everything fades, nothing lasts forever.

If life were a movie, we would only remember certain moments. Nostalgia makes us hold on to them, as if they were frozen frames—hence the name Freeze Frames.
The freeze frames from my life are carefully chosen photos. I don’t want to explain their personal meaning, but they capture special moments that will never happen again.

Like memories, these photos don’t last forever.
Freeze Frames exists only in ice form—when the ice melts, the images dissolve with it, leaving behind just a shapeless pulp.

Od bardzo dawna zbieram zawleczki w ramach projektu na Pracowni Sztuki Pojęciowej podjąłem się wyzwania odnalezienia celu dla mojej kolekcji. Proces zbierania się nie kończy i gromadzę dalej.
W trakcie trwania projektu zdobyłem i udokumentowaniem oderwanie 166 zawleczek.
