A new year, a new chapter, and a lifelong dream I’m finally chasing out loud...
Officially transitioning from my "student-actor" era into my "ACTOR" era!
Here’s a little introduction...

Meet Elemude.

A respected landowner.
A man of means.
A man of standing.

And a man who somehow manages to turn a straightforward proposal into an Olympic sport.

In a world where everybody wants peace, Elemude would like to first clarify a few things.

Playing this wonderfully stubborn gentleman is Ayomide "Joystiq" Ayoola, who insists he has something in common with the character.

We are still investigating that claim.

🎭 The Engagement is in its final weekend in Lagos. Book your seats now. Link in bio.

What a splendid weekend we had in Ibadan! 🎭

Laughter echoed through the room, arguments flew across the stage, egos collided, and audiences were treated to an unforgettable evening of theatre at The Engagement.

It was a fitting tribute to one of Africa’s most celebrated playwrights, Emeritus Professor Femi Osofisan, who turns 80 tomorrow.

A special salute to our incredible cast — Ayomide “Joystiq” Ayoola (Elemude), Blessing Uche (Ronke), and Bernard Ogini (Chief Medayekan) — whose performances brought wit, charm, and delightful chaos to the stage.

But we’re only getting started.

One weekend down. Two more weekends to go.

LAGOS, you’re up next.

📍 Venue: The Rustic Deck, Lekki
📅 Dates: June 20, 21, 27 & 28.

Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring that one person who is always convinced they are right.

🎟 Reserve your seats now: https://www.paystack.com/buy/theengagement

We can’t wait to see you in the theatre. by @just_joystiq

This time last year, I still hadn't gotten over the euphoria of the Ghanaian experience I had in Efua T. Sutherland's "MARRIAGE OF ANANSEWA" from @jjclassics_production.
As an actor and also a drummer, it's still one of my favorite performances till date!

Now, @jjclassics_production is ready to take us all on another spectacular journey to Burkinaso, to witness the last 100 hours of the revolutionary, Thomas Sankara in Jude Idada's "SANKARA" on the 26th and 27th of this month.

The last slide is probably going to be your reaction when you hear SOLD OUT and you've not gotten your tickets 😂😂
