Global flavours, through a different lens. 🌍

Saffron is one of those ingredients that can transform a dish with its distinct aroma, delicate floral notes and beautiful golden colour.

In this series, I'm exploring how different food cultures approach familiar ingredients, their traditional cooking methods and the flavours that make their cuisine unique, bringing a little of that experience to my audience here in Nigeria.

This time, we're exploring the Middle East, one dish at a time.

I didn't go to culinary school. But I found my way into professional kitchens, worked with amazing chefs, and learned by doing.

I became a sponge, absorbing as much as I could from every experience. I wanted to learn, improve, and become the kind of chef who could do more than just cook a good meal.

But my journey hasn't been a straight line. There was a point when everything started to feel overwhelming, and I found myself losing the joy I once had in cooking.

Stepping into private cheffing became a new chapter for me — an opportunity to explore my creativity, approach food more intentionally, and keep discovering the kind of chef I want to be.

I'm still learning. I'm still growing. And I'm proud of the journey that brought me here.

I'm sharing more of the person behind the plates, the lessons behind the work, and the journey of building JustSprinkleit.

If you're new here, welcome. ❤️

Everytime I make a bowl (s) of salad, I am taken back to when I worked the salad station back then at the commercial kitchen where I worked 😬😬
Little did I know it would one day become one of my favourite things to make. 🥗
