Doing it for the Moms. Doing it for the Dads.
@ocadouk @tesco @sainsburys @waitrose why are you penalising new parents? Why are you making it even harder and more expensive for your loyal customers, who spend hundreds of pounds just trying to fill their fridges? If the information I’ve found on the internet is incorrect, pls let me know - because I’ll gladly shop somewhere that wants to support its customers. Otherwise, I’m boycotting the lot of you. And maybe other parents will join me…

When I say I’m versatile - I mean it. Now, this video would have been better if I put some make up on so you could see my full potential… But I CBA. You want down and out, crack head? I gotchu. You want glam socialite, I also got you (not evident in this video but pls see previous posts somewhere and you’ll know I can hit an 8.5 on a good day). You want ordinary, tired looking woman? I GOT YOU HUN.

I cannot tell you how much I HOWLED making this post today.

🎬 What happens when I get a rejection? A few things. But mainly REALLY CHILL vibes….

Long but worth it. Promise. Also don’t hate me for the editing. I’m working on it, ok!

🎬 When you’re an actress sometimes you have to have a pays the bills job to see you through… you know, rent and bills and going to the dentist.

I saw @nicki_mccullough post this video on TT and I laughed OUT LOUD. Mainly bc I’ve considered these side hustles as an alternative to moonlighting as an EA. But alas. Here we are. Another day, another dollar.

This is NOT a sad post! I promise haha… No callback on this one — but a few weeks ago I got to play a dream character. Fun, a little fruity and full of life. My version wasn’t the one they wanted… which means someone else’s was. 👏🏽 Genuinely thrilled for them — she’s a hoot to play and getting that “yes” call is a high like no other… Whoever you are, for this job that will remain nameless - well done!

Actors can feel a sense of shame around rejection; like we did something wrong. And yeah, some “no”s sting more than others 😂 But auditions hit different for me when I treat them as playgrounds for imagination, not tests. That joy of bringing someone to life — even just for a self-tape — that’s still a win in my book!
