Tuesday Sept 22: Citizen's Holiday
Wednesday, Sept 23: Autumnal Equinox Day

🚗 Drive Carefully & Plan Ahead: We expect significantly increased
traffic during these days. Please allow extra time for travel and make
plans early to avoid delays.

Closures: Many shops and services may be closed on Monday (Sept 21,

Always a situation on Gate 2 street

Occurred immediately following an Eisa traditional dance performance.

Two intoxicated Marines allegedly shoved and punched three local residents (aged 20, 24, and 46) who were members of a local youth association. At least thats from the news.....

Good thing is it happened after most of the performances, and towards the end I guess.

The sounds of the drums are back..
Eisa Okinawa , this is a short clip on Gate 2.
Right before the Okinawa Beer Festival
a.k.a. Okinawa Zentou Matsuri, several troops performed. Weather was good despite a typhoon in the area.
Recently we have been getting alot of typhoons...

All went well that day with the exception of the small altercation on the street later on..

Helping Clients Save Big on Everyday Logistics! 💡🌐

Beyond language interpretation, clear communication can save you
serious time and money. Recently, a client was quoted over $300 by a
moving company to dispose of household goods—including $70 per unit
just to haul away two air conditioners, amongst other items.

By helping them coordinate directly with local city trash services, we
brought that AC disposal fee down from $70 to just $15 each, along
with massive savings on the rest of their items!

Bridging language and local systems is what we do best. Glad we could
help make this process smoother (and much more affordable)! 🤝✨

If you love cake, you’ve probably heard of Bon Fan, one of Okinawa’s long-established premium Western-style pastry shops.

Founded in 1984 by master pastry chef Yoshiharu Kinjo, Bon Fan helped introduce the kind of sophisticated hotel-style cakes that were uncommon in Okinawa at the time.

Chef Kinjo trained at the Tokyo Hilton Hotel and later worked at the Okinawa Hilton before opening his own shop. Bon Fan quickly became a sensation, with customers lining up and cakes selling faster than they could be made!

And since it’s also summer vacation, expect Okinawa’s roads, beaches, sightseeing spots, and popular areas to be a little busier than usual 🚗🌴

If you’re heading out tomorrow:

🚗 Give yourself extra time on the roads
🏖️ Expect more people at popular spots
🍜 Some smaller restaurants and businesses may be closed or have different hours
📅 It’s a good idea to check opening hours before making the trip
☀️ And of course… Okinawa summer heat is no joke!
