Portugal 70.3 Ironman !!!! 🇵🇹⚡️

Literally the hardest & best thing ever! Met the most amazing people, everyone helped me with everything (like someone literally built my bike for me out of the goodness of their ❤️) everyone was just so fab and cool.

The swim was actually okay & I left the water with my friend which was so nice! 1880m in 41 mins and was acc so happy with that bc was quite worried I wouldn’t make the cut off ha

The bike was SO cool! Cycled through the Formula One track which was insane & actually really enjoyed this whole part! 90km - 3:07hrs

The run. Oh my god. Hahahahah. This was horrendous. Was planning to get sub 2 hours but that was not on the cards. Ran the 21k in 2:16. Literally running to each aid station and then walking through each one hahahahah. BRILL!

The end was so amazing, literally the coolest experience ever & despite telling myself that I would never ever enter one again on the run & that it was the worst thing ever I feel like a sub 6 would be so cool to get (and my friends might enter another sooooo)🪩🪩🪩🪩🪩

I ran a marathon!!!!

Literally the hardest thing ever and a few tears were shed but everyone was so nice and @_just_tomi_ was the best teammate in the world & my friends are the best ever and held the best sign & my mum for coming down😎

was all a bit WHOA the first week so finding a bit of gratitude never hurt anybody lol

well I did lots last week bc it’s acc a bit oh my god being somewhere you don’t know and don’t speak the language and everyone is already friends but in reality it is NOT THAT DEEP lol.

We’re so lucky to even be human and be on this planet and every feeling is an experience but being sad all the time ruins that so now we don’t cry anymore xxx (much, crying is pretty therapeutic)

okay well this is more shoutout to my wonderful friend who joined us & spoke Spanish beautifully but then I had to ask to use the pool & it really wasn’t that bad.

I translated pool on google translate and the lady was super nice and nothing bad happened and I got to swim so that was a win!!!

I love these shoes with my whole entire heart 💛

I also love the great people who I still text all the time even tho we don’t live in the same place, love u xxxx

okay this is actually a bit deep and cringe but omg.

I’m working & living here for a whole month like that’s so cool & it’s fine if I don’t want to hang out with people all the time and my social battery is drained ALWAYS like I’m in Spain and that’s so cool Yano

Omg I have too many clothes & I refuse to throw any away & now I’m wearing them all & it’s so fun & I love a pump oh my worddddd

okay ACTUALLY? This solves 99% of my problems like all the time. Bit of perspective never did anyone any harm.

It also gets me out of watching 435 episodes of the handmaids tale a day so that also is pretty great

Ugh a dream. I rented this bike & I love her & she’s so fast & cool & the hub is soooooo loud & everyone looks and thinks whoa she’s cool. Shallow but joyful.

1,795m later…

Was kind of scared to cycle for the first time in Spain but it was AMAZING!

I drove from Madrid. Yep. Quite chaotic.

I parked at the bottom of Puerto de la Morcuera (although I did drive on the wrong side of the road twice & take 3 wrong turns as you can see by my actual time of arrival) & cycled up and over and then back up, down, up a bit and then down✨

Was superrrr quiet at the start but by 10am it was like some super bike meet hahahahah

Sooooo many insane bikes WTH

Suchhhhh a fun morning 🪩🪩🪩
