Here’s a video collage I made of all the things I’ll miss about Thailand: the food, the mountains, the ricefields, the animals, the culture, motorcycles, and more than anything, the community I’ve built over the years. That’s cuz serving Jesus IS FUN, and I’m not gonna post pictures from all the orphanages and the streets because I want to respect peoples’ autonomy.

Worth the read ⬇️
The men on our team helped build and furnish a triplex house for 3 sisters, while the women brought 300 donated dresses to girls’ centers, where each girl got to choose her favorite dress for the quinceañera. With tailoring, Bible stories, testimonies, and lots of encouragement, we got to remind these girls just how beautiful and loved they are.

Throughout the week, we fed people on the streets, served at a Salvadoran church, led worship, had devotionals and Bible studies, shared testimonies, and spent time with countless kids.

After a packed few days, the quince! The team did hair, nails, makeup, and jewelry for 100+ girls. Drumlimes, a Taylor Swift impersonator, desserts, massive decorations, and confetti. Words can’t do this night justice.

The next day, we rested at the beach. And man, was it needed. A week like that takes it out of you—little sleep, leaping bounds outside your comfort zone, hearing stories you never imagined, and realizing you’re being impacted just as much as the people you came to serve.

This trip made El Salvador feel like home. Not like my past trips though. It felt unusually normal to be there. Like I belonged there. Lord, send me back.

I don’t understand how people can live their whole life without obeying the Great Commission. No judgment, genuinely. I’m just sorry they miss out on more than words can say.

Go. Just go. You’ll never regret being obedient to God.

took a trip to the capital 😎

people are the only things we can bring to Heaven. be intentional with your friendships this summer

building relationships is not a distraction, it’s a ministry

the investments you make in your friendships have so much of a ripple effect, affecting more lives than you can count

you never know the life someone else is living. mental struggles, spiritual battles, unhealthy family, sinful habits, the list goes on

you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by building deeper relationships

reach out to someone today and be intentional

make sure to rest this summer. sabbath isn’t a recommendation, it’s a commandment. people used to get stoned to death for breaking the sabbath bc it was part of the law. we were not created for the sabbath, the sabbath was made for US.

don’t refuse the gift of rest that God has for you. take time to do something life-giving and restful. God set an example to rest at the very start of the Bible. let’s be obedient to our calling and take time to breathe.

Jesus loves you, go spend some time with Him today :)

i wanna be open with y’all ⬇️
Lately I’ve been feeling less close to God. I’ve been traveling a bunch and I’m not surrounded by the Liberty community anymore. I got frustrated until I realized that even though I was still staying disciplined, I began adding God to my life instead of making Him the center of it. I was treating God like a to-do list instead of a relationship I am called to, and have the privilege of, investing in. A relationship requires effort and work and I’m learning how to invest consistently no matter the circumstance or transition. I do that well with friends, but I’m learning how to do that with God.
I say this because I find vulnerability a lost practice in the body of Christ, I’m not perfect and I want to grow in openly acknowledging that. More than that, I want others to know they aren’t alone. Romans 3:23, we have all fallen short of His glory :)

Genuinely, if you got any questions, hit me up out of the blue. I love having conversations with people and I love answering questions.

quick trip back to Thailand 😁

Romans 12:9 “Do not pretend to love others, truly love them”
As Christians, we’re constantly told to love others and it’s so easy to make that a chore and to fake it cuz you “have to”. I found myself doing that a lot too, making love a performance because it felt required of me. That’s why I love this verse so much ⬇️
Stop pretending. Don’t put on a face. If you don’t have the energy to love someone, love them by being your tired self. People understand.

If we make love a chore, it loses its purpose. It becomes a box we check off instead of a heart posture we hold ourselves accountable to.

so thankful for the opportunity i have to travel, im so blessed. for those wondering, traveling isnt nearly as expensive as ppl think. is it cheap? no but it’s just as
attainable as saving up for anything. if you want tips or pointers, comment below and i’d love to share what i know as a lifelong missionary kid (broke but forced to travel, ha!)

talk abt a crazy semester! but let’s talk abt Jesus ⬇️

Every battle is lost in the mind before it’s lost in the flesh. Our speech and actions are reflections of our mind which is why it’s so important to take every thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) and keep our eyes on the Lord (Psalm 16:8). More than that, we NEED to do everything in God’s strength. We have such a limit to our capabilities, but God is waiting for us to lean on Him and humble ourselves before Him. We need Him more than we will ever realize, and every day I hope I can realize my need for Him more and more.
Trust. Trust in Him, you guys. Isaiah 26:3 says “He will give perfect peace to those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in Him”. Trust Him with your friendships, your future, your finances, all of it. If He’s gonna feed the sparrows and clothe the flowers, how much MORE will He lavish His love on you if you only accept it and trust?
